Very good buy
Was spending so much at local hardware store for individual test kits. I have to test my well every 6 months. This is so easy to use, so inexpensive and you don’t mind trying again if you need to. We have to shock our well occasionally and making sure the chlorine is gone takes some time. Most other kits only come with a few tests for chlorine. Now if I need to I can keep testing until it reads zero.

Not sure how well it actually works, but great for peace of mind
How can you tell if this even works? I have no idea.... but I was able to cross compare at least the pH with a pH strip I had, and they were the same, so that made me feel better.I don't think these will replace a full water test, but I think it is useful to track changes from a 'baseline' reading that you first take if your water changes. I'm glad it has multiple strips, which is why I bought it, so I can test over time. My water looks pretty good per the test, and that reassurance is what I needed. I guess the only way to know how well it works is if people are pulling up bad readings and independently verify. For me, the peace of mind was well worth the reasonable price, I just hope the results are accurate! Hope this helps.

Great test kit
Great test kit. I use it in my swimming pool and in testing my well water, and it seems very accurate. It has a lot of different tests not usually found in other products, and it is quick and easy to use. I've used a lot of tests kits and this is the best I've found so far. Especially because I have well water and it tests for metals such as iron and copper. Highly recommended.

Seemingly consistent measurement with unclear accuracy. Limited product description.
This product is relatively easy to use. It comes with clear instructions. The first reason for a less than 5-star review is as follows. Without subjecting the water sample to elaborate laboratory testing, there is no way to know how accurate this product's readings are. The readings do appear to be reliable (i.e., multiple strips testing the same sample yield similar results; note that reliability is not the same thing as accuracy - the readings may be reliable but inaccurate). The second reason for a less than 5-star review is that there was no information included with the product describing its measurement properties. There is no mention what the testing strips contain, how they were standardized, and what their measurement error is. There is a vague mention that the product is FDA-certified and "CE"-certified for home testing purposes, but there is no explanation what this actually means in precise terms.

Inaccurate results
these strips are useless. The biggest problem is that the strips are inaccurate. For example, the strips indicates about 0.5 copper and 0 iron. When I had the water tested at stores, there actually was no copper and 0.3 mg/l of Iron. The Free chlorine readings were way off too; when I used a strip in a super-chlorinated pool with about 10 ppm of free chlorine, these showed 3-5 PPM!Another problem is the terrible design. The 14 tests on the strip are placed closely together. In addition, the strip itself is flimsy and bends under the weight of all the tests. So what happens is that inevitably the colors of the various tests bleed together.

So worth the buy!
I live in an area with access to city water and the taste always felt a bit off. There is a spring a few miles from our house where we fill up 5 gallon jugs of water for free and it always tasted much better than our faucet water. I bought these strips because I was curious if the spring water was actually better or if it was all in my head. Turns out our faucet water is slightly higher in free chlorine and bromine which could contribute to that nasty pool taste. These strips were a worthy buy for me because it just confirmed that the extra trip to grab spring water is worth my time and energy.

Useless for Fluoride Testing on City Water, Made in China, Questionnable Accuracy.
I'm generally not a fan of test strips as they have a high margin of error and can often be confusing to read due to similar color shades between different measurements. I prefer liquid tests for greater accuracy, and even better yet, electronic meters. However, this test interested me because it had among so many chemicals, Fluoride, all on one strip. Fluoride strip tests were nowhere to be found before this item so I wanted to give it a shot. After receiving the item, first thing I noticed is that it's Made in China on the bottom of the box. This is a red flag because China is known to have a very high rate of defective products, and especially when it comes to something as important drinking water, having the greatest accuracy in testing is important. The second problem is that the minimum Fluoride detection on this test is 10mg/L, this is way higher than the synthetic Fluoride being added to tap water, and often higher than the benign and naturally occurring Fluoride found in well water. The US EPA allows Fluoride Levels in tap up to 4.0mg/L, this is the absolute legal maximum that can be added, however, the secondary and more common level is 2.0mg/L. About 2 years ago, the CDC made a recommendation that 0.7mg/L would be the ideal level of Fluoride, so most cities follow this recommendation. In any case, if you're on city water, your Fluoride levels most probably range from 0.7 - 2.0mg/L, as such, this test will be useless for you if you're testing for Fluoride since it's minimum detection level starts at 10mg/L.

Easy to use.
Great for testing your pool water. No need to run to the pool store to have your water tested. Easy to use and read the results. Great product for the money.
