Got these the first time at Costco a couple years ago and man, they work great for me (and my adult daughter.)I can only take half of one pill max and I get a solid night sleep every time. Sometimes I break the half in half. I don't take them often to be fair - only when I really need to get a good night sleep (for instance the night before a work trip) or when I haven't been sleeping well for a few days in a row.If I take a whole pill I do wake up extremely groggy. That's sometimes the case when I only take half a pill too. Regardless of weight/size, we all matabalize things differently. I recommend starting small and working up until getting the right dose. I highly, highly recommend this product.
