Not one of her finest albums
It's a painful reality to have to say that for me this album has been the least enjoyable of all her albums to listen to - I think it must be down to what can only be described as a dead, over processed digital sound quality. Barber's albums have been a benchmark of superb sound quality partnered with superb writing and musicianship - I'm afraid not this one. It's a shame as the sound quality issue ruins what should have been a another great album.

Audiophile disc
This is how you do it. First of all, there is no compression on this disc. Full dynamic sound. Mobile Fidelity has done it again. If you want to hear music with an absolutely stunning soundquality, then this is the disc to get.The music itself, is a whole lot easier to listen to, than some of the previous albums. I like it a lot.

Best album this year !
So refreshing to have an album not full of covers. A stunning voice and not a bad track on the album. The perfect way to relax after a hard days slog ! A very easy 5 stars here.

An album of exquisite beauty
An album of exquisite beauty from the finest jazz female singer/songwriter.Sublime patterns of words and music that transcendsthe fragmented perspectives of love and emotion.
