This Teepee is adorable! I was surprised at how good the quality was with the pricing - the pieces are all wood (no cheap plastic pieces) and canvas is sturdy-- this seems to be right up there with Pottery Barn Kids teepees. The included flag banner is a really cute (bonus) and the carrying bag is great as well. I also really like that the window is open verses a sash bar style. I bought this for my 2.5 yr old son and he loves it! He reads in it, puts all his stuffed animals and rocks in the inner pocket and plays puppets in the window. A lot of the teepees I looked at seemed too large for inside the house but this one is perfect at a 4' footprint at the base. It's easy to wash as well-- I threw it into our front loading machine with a little Oxi Clean when it arrived, just to get rid of the canvas smell and to also brighten the white up. (I wouldn't be thrown off by the canvas smell as this is how all canvas smells when it's brand new - nothing a quick wash won't take care of.) I then let it air dry for about a day and a half. Putting together was really easy but you'll want to make sure it's fully dry otherwise it can be a little tough (sort of like putting on a wet swimsuit).

Took about 15 mins to put together. The instructions weren’t very clear but after a few moments I understood what it was needing us to do with the poles. Within an hour of my little dude playing in it, the flooring seams ripped away from the sides of the tent. I was devasted. Overall the tent’s quality is great, but the stitching wasn’t backstiched to have a good hold. Not sure the flooring fabric is a wise idea in a tent for kids. I’m in the market for a small rug now. I’m not going to return it because 1. I can fix it. 2. I have a wild boy, so I’m sure that’s a factor. I’m still telling my friends about the amazing size! My little guy loves the side window too!Update - I went from a 3 star to a 5 star. About a day after I made this review, I was contacted by Allison at Canicove. She was so kind. She apologized for the seaming issue and asked me if I wanted a refund of 20% or to be sent a new teepee. Since I can fix the issue myself, I told her the refund would be just fine. She ended up rounded up a refunded me a little over 20%. That my friends is amazing customer service. I made sure let me friends know! If we ever need a second teepee I'm purchasing it from Canicove. By the way I had to lay in the teepee one night when my son didn't want me to leave the room. It was awesome. I probably could have just slept in it.

Much smaller then the pictures make it look and not built well, the poles were so difficult to get through and then once set up it is very unstable, very disappointed. I was so excited to get this set up for my daughter for her birthday and we bought all these fun pillows to go instead but cant figure out why it is so small compared to others who have posted pictures. I really really really wanted to love this.EDIT: After my previous comment the company reached out immediately and sent me a new cloth for the tee pee and it worked perfect. Great customer service provided!!! Looks like I might have received someones return previously but they made it right and were awesome

This teepee isn’t what I thought it would be. I got it for a camping trip and thought my kids would love to play in it. I was really excited to set it up. The instructions were not very clear, but it seemed very simple to set up. I struggled to get the poles in the canvas. I got them in and tied together. I went to put the poles in place and it was impossible. It would fall over or the poles would move and not stay where they needed to go. I am going to sew some extra material on the ends to stake the poles in place, but I don’t know how you would fix it if you intended to use it indoors.

Built it last night and found it pretty easy to put together. The canvas is heavy duty and the poles are a single piece of solid wood. In short, it's built to last. The tent is also a big hit with my two kids between 4 and 8yo. I woke up this morning to find both of them in there together with their toys. Even after ten minutes they weren't fighting, so clearly the teepee is a hit.I did notice that the canicove teepee is the only one to actually win an award. The competitors for a few dollars less have put it on their pictures but didn't actually win it according to the awarding website.

This is my second purchase. Teepee is a very good quality! Fabric is good canvas and the bottom is attached to the top. Nothing can crawl in uninvited. Making quite places filled with pillows and books for all our grandkids. Granddaughter just loves hers! So much fun to lay in with them and read a book. Great customer service!

We are godparents who purchased the Canicove teepee for our 2 1/2 year old godson. We are completely happy with the product. We were immediately pleased with how easy it was to assemble. It was out of the box and ready for play within 15 minutes. And we are notoriously horrible at putting together things! It comes with written instructions as well as a link to a video for assembly and we're happy to report there was not single cuss word during the assembly. The canvas material is heavy duty, much like many of our canvas tote bags. We like that the teepee includes an intact, sewn-in floor and the bottom of the poles fit into a canvas pocket so there's no worry about anything scratching the floor during play. A bonus: the cat loves it, too!

The fabric is nice and thick, and the poles are smooth and sturdy. However, the poles do not fit into the fabric sleeves. I managed to get two of them all the way in using pliers and the sheer force of my determination, but the other two will absolutely not budge. No amount of maneuvering will do. It's a matter of physics at this point, and I didn't take physics, so I'm out on this one.
