Blooming White Tea with Vanilla Flavor (Gift Bag)

I had high hopes for this tea after reading the reviews online, and I really loved the mango flavor. But this tea just didn't taste quite right to me. I'm not sure if it was the vanilla flavor that just didn't appeal to me, but it was somehow artificial tasting. And the green tea was a bit more bitter than other flavors I've had.

I do not know what I expected but I got this for my husband. He is a huge fan of vanilla and we had just started drinking teas together so I wanted to pick up a few different ones to try. I stepped the bloom and poured the first two cups thinking it smelled really good. I tasted it and was caught off guard by the intense vanilla flavor. I am not even really a big fan of the flavor and most of the time have found it to be bland but this tea is different from any other I have tried.Aside from the beautiful bloom that looks pretty in your clear tea pot it tastes absolutely decadent. Think perfectly sweet (not too much or too little) whipped vanilla frosting. It tastes like a dessert. I am a new fan and will be buying more. It is a bit pricy but worth it. If you love vanilla this is something you should try.

Very pretty flowers tea not so exciting. Will make a nice center piece for a party tho, probably would not purchase again

I have tried many varieties of "blooming" tea and this is one of the best . The white tea has a nice vanilla taste that is very delicate and the bloom is lovely.

The tea really blooms it is even cooler than the pictures, I got it as a gift for my mom. She loved it. The tea is tasty too.

Little too bitter for a white tea which are generally more floral and light than green, or oolong teas.
