Baby likes
I had the Baby Bjorn when my todler was little, but she is 80% now and needed a bigger carrier. This one was a little more work than the Bjorn (child proof buttons on the clasps, so they can't undo it themselves), but easy enough. I can put her in the front or swing her to the back by myself (which is why I bought this one). I have purchased cheaper ones that work okay, but this one seems to be the most comfortable for my child. I have not tried the infant insert, but I will try it with my next baby. It seems to be pretty sturdy, but it is not made for a child to sit forward on the front of you, they must face you to be comfortable.

Not for small framed people!
I cannot adjust this to make it comfortable, after 15 months of attempts, lots of help, online videos I give up making this comfortable for me or baby. It just is too large, the straps are too far apart on my shoulders even when completely tightened. Such a waste, wanted it to work :(Also they no longer make this carrier (according to their website)

Beco carrier
I really like my Beco butterfly II carrier. It's easy to put on, it's comfy, and it's not heavy to carry my baby in it. I love it, and it is so much easier to be able to carry my baby in a good way and at the same time have my hands free to do other things.

Baby carrier
Our daughter loves the carrier. It is very practical and comfortable for both parents and child. Used in multiple settings.

So far is SO SO
I have the Ergo and this Beco at the moment, trying to decide which one to keep, and I just find the Ergo as secure as the Beco Butterfly with out the need of all the extra buckles. See on the Ergo you buckle the waist and then place the baby in the carrier and lift the shoulder straps on and buckle them on the back, your baby cant reach back there, so no more fuss.. But on the Beco you have to buckle the waist, then the back, and then put the baby in the carrier and buckle each side... This is just much more steps then the Ergo. Another thing I'm finding annoying about the Beco is how hard it is to adjust the length once your baby is in it, also that the straps on the sides keep getting on the way when I out my baby in it. and there are alot of things hanging everywhere. On the Ergo I Like it more, it is more simple, has the pocket for cell or keys. (I dont use it for cell, not good for baby) but the shoulder straps are closer to each other and the baby wants to suck on them because they are so close to her face, I wonder if this will make her feel claustrophobic the older she gets. I still have not decided which one I will keep. I guess which ever she feels more comfortable in, so far I think she likes the Beco, she is 10 weeks old and over 13 lbs, I guess I should mention that although she is big for the baby insert in the Beco, she is still not mature for the reg side because her head has no full support yet. I used a soft small pillow today in the Beco to get her higher with more support and had to use the hear cover to help hold her head. I am going to her the Ergo baby insert which Im sure will use on both carriers. I haven't try to use the Ergo as much because I just got it and because I feel she needs the baby insert, I will re-review after I decide.

NOT AS GOOD AS THE ERGO!!!!
I just purchased the Butterflly 2, thinking it looked so similar to the ergo, yet prettier. I used my Ergo for the past 6 years this is my third baby. He is 8 months and my Ergo is starting to finally fall apart. I should have just ordered another one instead of buying the beco. You can't unbuckle the arm straps at all, which probably will make it hard to take it off weather he is on my front or back. I thought It sounded better because of the fact you can buckle it the back strap then slide it over your head so the straps are lower on your back. yeah but then how the hell do you unbuckle it.Also Impossible to get the hood on when in back carry unless you have help. NO pocket for storing things in front like your wallet. The hood has to be taken OFF instead of just tucking it in a pocket. And probably the most annoying parts are all the safety features like the added piece of fabric between you and the babe, and the buckles by the chest have to be opened with TWO hands not one. Complete pain in the ass to me.Well he just fell asleep on my back while I'm standing here typing this. We'll see if I can actually get him off of me. Just get an Ergo. It is SOOO much easier to use. (maybe this would be good for use with your first infant, all the extra infant inserts and safety annoying features might actually be reassuring to a first time baby wearer.) I am not happy to say the least. I would return it if I could.

Disappointing - Our son hates being in it
We bought this before he was born and I thought it would be one of my favorite purchases and a constant companion. Nope. The upshot is that he is just not happy in this carrier.I kept thinking that he would reach an age/size where he liked it, but 5 months in that has not happened. When he was very small it would sometimes put him to sleep (kind of like a tight swaddle) but really only if he was tired to begin with. Many times I have had the frustrating experience of putting a happy baby into the beco and setting out for a walk only to have a screaming arching baby strapped to my chest - who then calmed as soon as he was taken out of the beco.Basically I think the carrier is just too confining. He starts to try to turn around or arch out of it and when he realizes he can't he really starts struggling and then it's just over. Yes, I have tried waiting him out to see if the carrier and position against my chest would calm him. If you want a serious test of nerves this is a good one, just try to have some chamomile tea/valium around for afterward. On the up side, it seems well made and other kids might like it (thus the two stars), but please try to "test drive" with your child before buying it. Ours is probably headed to Goodwill, and we have had much better luck with the Moby.Update: Ok, this did not go to Goodwill and is currently being used by our newest, now 6 months old. He likes it pretty well, I certainly like it better though it is still not super comfortable for longer walks. I'm not adding any stars since it was solid for one kid, useless for the other, but I'll reiterate my suggestion: just really try to put the child in the carrier before you spend $100+ even if it is highly recommended by grown ups
