Q: Anyone know if i can use this on ps4 and macbook at the same time? for discord and game sound on the ps4

Hello, At the moment, we do not offer such a cable, but we are currently working on finding / developing a good solution for this!

Q: Can i connect the headset straight to the controller?

You can with a ps4 controller have not tried xbox one, you get both wires with this for using with a pc with seperate sound and mic jacks and a combined wire that uses a jack that plugs straight into a controller, phone etc. You might find the volume does not go all that high, high enough but not loud atleast on some things. You can get around this by also getting a astro mix amp or similar , make sure you get one that is compatible with you console though. I use these on both my Ps4 and PC and i find them excellent.

Yes you can, assuming it has at least one audio jack.
