Absolutely awesome and well made but the tail does drag on the ground. My 8 year old wore this and she’s tall for her age.

With the price on this, I was pretty skeptical about this costume. My four-year-old loves baby shark, and this is going to be her costume for halloween. The inexpensive nature of this had me thinking this was going to be that cheap stretched pvc film.Imagine my shock when I open it up and its nylon! It's not going to take a beating, for sure, but it'll last all of trick-or-treating, and then some. No doubt about that. A few loose threads here and there, but honestly, for the price, this is great! My daughter already has a blast with this, and it's going to make for a super fun Halloween!

This inflatable shark costume was a hit! My kid was hot in it from walking around during trick or treating even when it was in the 40s/50s the evening of Halloween where we live, so don't expect ventilation to help keep you cool in warmer climates. My kid is 9, but a small kid, so right in the middle of the age bracket recommended for this costume and the length of the legs and "arms" were a little short but acceptable within the "8-10 years" size. I believe he should be able to wear it again next year. The tail is longer than the legs, so it dragged along the ground, strangely, but the material is strong enough that it's didn't wear a hole in the tail as I had expected it to do. Be mindful that the shape of the shark mouth where your child's head is, the material, and the fan in the suit will make it more difficult for your kid to hear you (beyond the normal selective hearing all kids exhibit) and may pose a slight safety hazard if there are cars driving nearby while you are out trick or treating. The inflating fan was generally quiet, and the batteries lasted for 2 hours of a costume party AND 2 hours of trick-or-treating. Pleasantly surprised the costume came with a small screwdriver for the battery box, though I only found that in the box in a baggie with a patch when I was putting the costume away and had already broken the battery access flap open and repaired- my mistake. 10/10, I love this costume and wished I could have found one in my size but opted to put on a life jacket and snorkel gear and play the swimmer to my kid's shark. Fun was had by all.
