This mask has been very effective for my dry eye. This mask and brand was recommended by my eye doctor. My initial assessment was that it was shaped for a larger face, put too much pressure on my nose and the electrical connection in the corner was in the way. BUT having used it for nearly a year, I've gotten used to that. When it broke after nearly a year, I tried a different brand. The other brand was a little more comfortable but with the same electrical connection in the corner that I have become used to. But it never worked as well (uneven heating across the surface, burned out with a terrible smell on day 4, now in the garbage.) I HAVE ORDERED ANOTHER OF THIS TYPE!!! My doctor knew what she was doing when she recommended tis mask!!!

Though marked ‘new’ it’s obvious this was opened based on repackaging quality, missing ‘booklet’ mentioned in the printed document that comes with it and earmarked/bent pages of product info. It may not have actually been used but when buying something for direct contact with eyes, I want to know it’s not been used and condition of product doesn’t give me confidence that’s the case.

The mask is very soft, but it turns out that, if you want to protect it from dirt (it's not washable), you have to insert it into a washable cover that is not so soft. Also, the cover is not big enough for the mask, which has to be squeezed in for the cover to close.Then there is the issue that the on/off switch has three different color lights (red, blue, green) and the instructions don't tell you what they mean. You have to guess. Is red the hottest option? Is blue the lowest temperature?They don't explain either what the minute indications on the switch mean: Is it time the mask has to be warming up before using it? Time it will be warm on your face?I don't understand why they haven't put a little more effort in explaining how this mask works. And the Solana web page doesn't even feature the product, so no help there either.If you buy it, be prepared to spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. I'm thinking of returning mine.

Use of this is now part of my bedtime routine. I have dry eyes (just don't make enough tears) and this helps soften the oil glands that help moisturize the eyes. It has three heat settings, and three time settings. I adjust the Velcro strap once, then I slide it on and off.

I had reservations about this, but tried it last night and wow was I surprised. I use it under my CPAP gear because the air blowing from the CPAP was contributing to my dry eye problem, plus I have Fuchs Dystrophy which does not help. It turns off automatically and is excellent for blocking out all light. What a great little find!

Much improved design, comfortable fit. I purchased this same compress some years ago - it worked really well but the machine-washable cover didn't fit that well and it was a pain to put back on. I saw the pictures of the new cover and they looked completely different, so I bought a new one. I'm happy to say it now has a zipper (not velcro), so it's easy to put on and take off, and the fit is much better. Really nice product, soothing heat for the eyes.

Got this yesterday and returning it today. The left it plugged in for 30 minutes and it was barely warm. The cloth cover that comes with it doesn't even fit properly, and it just feels cheap.

Love this product. Gets nice and hot and really helps my sinus issues. It’s a very soothing heat
