Finally found my go-to fuel for long runs! I've been using this maltodextrin powder mainly for my Saturday long runs, and it's been a game-changer. The best part? Unlike other brands that left me with stomach issues, this one sits really well. There's barely any taste to it, which is perfect because I don't want something overly sweet when I'm pushing miles.For my setup, I mix 5-6 scoops in a 500ml flask and take regular sips throughout the run, following each with plain water (though everyone's different, so you'll need to find your own sweet spot). It provides steady energy without any crashes or gut bombs.The price point is reasonable, considering how long the container lasts. Good product. I mix it with table sugar to make 2:1 glucose/fructose ratio in water. No sweetness.

Very very sticky on your hands. Very clumpy unless you aggressively shake it in a shaker cup with a shaker ball. I add it to my protein cereal sometimes for extra carbs and energy and it's always clumpy and tastes corny but it's not terrible. I probably don't use it the right way tbh. I put 3 scoops in my pre workout and shake it a ton and it mixes great and hardly is noticable taste wise, it does thicken it a bit but I should mention it is also clear/transparent when fully dissolved and shaken, if it is clumpy it will be white. I also had 3 scoops in water once with nothing else and it was the most atrocious thing I've drank in years. I got it all down though but it was a struggle. Good value for money and is easy to use and is effective. Great for taking before or during the gym for a good pump and fuel.

Nice to have option in place of pre-made drink mixes for cycling. Very low sweetness makes it easy to prepare your own high carb drinks without getting a sick stomach. I mix them with the little flavor packets from Crystal Lite or Walmart brand, whatever flavor seems good for a while. I think that's a key for drinking this stuff without getting overly sick of it - low sweetness and lots of flavors to choose from. Price has gone up a little faster than it seems like it should over the years, but still a good value.

Why are you reading the reviews for a tub of maltodextrin? It's maltodextrin.It didn't come with bugs or a severed human finger inside, only maltodextrin. Just how you want your tub of maltodextrin, pure maltodextrin. 5 stars.
