Make sure you use the extending bit. Positioned correctly this is a lifesaver. Quite narrow, but practise first in the shower, as advised. Feel as free as a man!!! I keep mine in my car alongside some tissues and some plastic bags, but this has been very useful on a couple of occasions.

There is nothing worse than hiking and busting for a pee. I am not one of those people that can pee al fresco and find the whole bare-arse-in-the-wind-watching-for-passersby to be less than conducive to relieving oneself. For years I have held on until my bladder were at bursting point and then had to endure the mad dance that accompanies looking at a clean ceramic white bowl but being unable to undo ones trousers fast enough.Then I heard about the shewee. First impression - a little weird. Then I figured that the advantages would outweigh the weirdness of it and there is nothing better than no longer needing the loo. I did anticipate a little difficulty in getting the right technique but practice makes perfect so I gave it a go.When it arrived I was a little surprised at how big it is; it is certainly not something that you can slip discreetly into your pocket...but at least it's green and not shocking 'hey everyone, look over here' pink. It's a simple two-piece bit of equipment - the 'container' and the extension tube (without the tube I imagine that it would be problematic to avoid your feet and trousers).It says on the box to practice in the shower but I find the whole idea of that a bit gross so I decided to just 'pee into the wind' and go for it. I'll admit that I was a little anxious but then the worst that could happen was I would have to change my clothes. It is so weird to spend years controlling your bladder and then to try and let go and pee whilst fully dressed and still standing was something to get over. I found that I would be close to peeing but then would hold back. I persevered, told myself that it was alright and to not rush it. After about three minutes, I did it! Yes, I did get my hand a wee bit (Ha!) but it wasn't a calamity. For the rest of the day, everytime that I needed to pee, I would use the shewee until - finally - I had it down to a par and had no mishaps whatsoever and found it much easier to relax.Thanks to this little bit of kit, I know that I can pee wherever I like when out walking. I will still have to keep a look-out for passerby's but it will be much easier to maintain my modesty and avoid any embarrassment now that I don't need to bare my arse.I fully recommend this product.

Before buying the Shewee I read all reviews on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com, I googled it and other alternatives. I decided to go with the Shewee because it was small and hard plastic (seemed better for me since I often wear tight jeans).The Shewee itself is small but the box is quite big!The first time I tried it I was quite scared of making a mess... As I had read that others did. So I tried it without pants, in the toilet. And it worked! No spills, no mess. Easy! I tried it without panties 3 more times (it worked flawlessly), so I decided to try it with panties and a pair of tight jeans. I unbuttoned and unzipped the jeans, pushed my underwear to the side and I was ready! But... I couldn't go. I guess I was afraid of leakage on my jeans. I got the pipe and attached it to the Shewee to feel a bit more secure. After somewhat 20 minutes I could go and it worked even when fully clothed.So I am very happy and satisfied with the Shewee. But:- Wiping with the Shewee to catch drips doesn't work completely. I wouldn't use it without toilet paper (or napkins) unless I really had to.- When finished they advise you go give the Shewee a light shake since it has liquid repellent material. While most liquid does disappear, some remain. And I think it's gross. So, without water I wouldn't use it again before washing it.- I got the green Shewee and the pipe is transparent. It could have been green.If you are not successful: The "secret" is placing the pointy edge to your perineum (the wall between the anus and the vagina). You shouldn't press the front side of the Shewee against your body, leave a gap of a few millimeters.I don't intend to use it at home, but when I'm outdoors and have to go and possibly in nasty bathrooms abroad.

Needed a bit of practice but this product is excellent for my body type especially as the parts are sturdy and static. Some other products are more pliable and this doesn’t suit me. I recommend this as a starting point for all women, especially as it has the extension. I have used this camping and on long road trips, levada walks, highland walks, Swedish walks, you name it and after trying various products, this works for me the best in terms of reliability for not leaking and it’s so much easier with the extension. It is empowering.

Very small opening which has made it a challenge to use around clothes and takes some getting used to.Very portable though.

Bisogna fare un po' di pratica a casa dopodichè è davvero insuperabile!Per me che sono sempre fuori casa è diventato indispensabile, è pratico, discreto, si lava facilmente ovunque.Ne ho acquistati diversi, uno per la borsa della piscina, una per la borsa di tutti i giorni, uno da tenere in auto, uno per lo zaino da viaggio.
