I bought this for my parents because their window unit is at the dining room table and 2 people always have the air hitting their neck. We end up turning the ac off during dinner, but then everyone gets too hot and we put it back on until their necks hurt and we turn it off and the cycle continues. With this the ac stays on, nobody sweats and nobody has a sore neck from the air hitting them.

The instructions are terrible, but it's fairly easy to figure out. When you're putting it together the deflector material is so flimsy it's not easy, it keeps wanting to roll back into itself. The rest of the plastic adjustable setup actually feels pretty well made. It doesn't move around once I adjust it where I want itIf only the fin itself was a little sturdier I'd give it 5 stars, and I'd be willing to pay more for it. I'm worried my cat will eventually tear this thin plastic up.We have a window unit near the head of our bed because it was the only place to install and its annoying to have the air blasted right behind your head to watch tv or right over your face when you're laying down. This immediately corrected that problem, if you need to deflect your window unit air flow this does exactly what you need it to do.

Bought this for an office where one of us likes it cold and the other one doesn’t. It was easy to install and functioned as it described. It directed the air to the person who likes it cold! So far seems durable. Now everyone is happy! Definitely worth the money!

You have to use common sense to put this together because the installation steps is a headache; very poor. For example (1) stick waterproof foam on the soft board ( what it means - align the waterproof on the soft board.Do not use double sided tape; it is not needed and not attractive. I removed tape).(2) install three removable brackets…why?? U can only use 2 of the removable brackets.This is trial and error…once it’s done, it is good.I may get another.

We have an air conditioner in our office and because we don't have another place option it needs to be in front of me, every time we turn on the air comes straight to my face. With this new accessory this doesn't happen anymore, I can work quietly and the air is directed up. It was great! I recommend it to everyone, excellent cost benefit.

I got this to help deflect the flow of air from a floor vent, not from a window air conditioner, and it is working pretty well. It was easy to adapt it to the vent, and it's doing its job. I will say that it's a little bit flimsy, but that doesn't keep it from working. It's decent quality, and it's a good value for the price.

This deflector is flimsy and difficult to work with. However, as it is assembled, it gets much more rigid. There are a lot of parts, more than needed. The instructions say to assemble there pieces and the parts are available but only two are needed. The instructions are poor and I had to rely on pictures on Amazon to finally determine how to assemble. After assembly, the deflector works great. This was purchased for my mom in her apartment to keep cold air from blowing on her while she rested on her sofa and it works. I would recommend.
