Funny and Thought-Provoking, With a Side of Controversial
This game is really pretty simple: ask questions of the others in the room, guess what their answers will be, and see how accurately you can guess what they'll say. The interest and variety of game play lies in the questions themselves and the people in the room. The game is very well packaged, easy to follow, and reasonably priced. Game play will vary based upon who is participating. If there are a lot of differing opinions in the room, each question may bring up discussion about why players feel the way that they do. You may find that you do not know the room as well as you think you do.In addition, the Reader has the ability to choose between two questions on each card. So depending upon how the player in that role wants the game to proceed, game play may get more or less animated. Some cards are rather tame, and some cards may cause a little (or a lot of) conflict.Read the Room is a funny and thought-provoking game, with the potential for a side of controversial. I have to decide to which gatherings I'm willing to take this. It definitely has the potential to blow things up if you don't read the room correctly.*Found a typo on one of the cards on our first go round that I assume that they'll correct that on their next version.

Fun And Easy To Learn
This game is easy to set up and learn. There are 150 opinion cards, with an opinion on each side, so replay potential is good. Each player gets an agree and disagree token and a dry-erase pen with an eraser on the tip. You decide if you agree with the opinion on the card, and then decide how many players share your opinion. You put the total number, including yourself, on the agree or disagree token. If you are correct, you get a point token. When you get three point tokens, you can trade them in for a three point token. The first player to get eight points wins. This game was fun to play with my husband, but I think it will be even more fun to play with several friends. You learn a lot about your friends in the process! I like that this game is simple and easy to learn, and small enough to bring with you on vacation or anywhere. I think we will get a lot of fun evenings out of it for the price, and I would definitely recommend it for teens and adults.

Fun Concept | Short Directions - which is nice!
I ordered this game to play with my family. It ended up being a ton of fun, and definitely helped me get to know them better, as these topics aren't typically discussed. What's even better is that after you all show your answers - you can inquire about who everyone thought would agree or disagree based on the number wrote out on your card. I wanted to give a few more example of the question cards included.Examples from Game:Should there be a limit to how many children someone can have?Onion Rings are Better than French Fries? It's definitely thought provoking and silly, but we enjoyed it a lot. The cards are easy to read, eight markers are included, and the writing is easy to wipe off of the mini dry erase AGREE or DISAGREE boards. The Gameplay instructions/Rules were pretty short and sweet, which I appreciated. I really loved that they used a practice scenario Image so you're able to understand the point system. Overall for the current price of $11.99, I wouldn't have been disappointed ordering this game. I've only played it once thus far, but I can only imagine how fun it'll be with some drinks introduced and some good friends.

Fun game: not for the whole family
We had a great time playing this game, laughing and learning about each other. Quite a few of the answers surprised us! Before playing, I would suggest that you go through all the cards and remove those that may not be appropriate for those playing. There are several sexual cards and some dealing with topics you might feel too weird about discussing with friends. I removed 13 cards when we played the first time due to some younger players and later due to some friends whose answers to those questions I really didn't want to know! You could always just give everyone the option to skip any cards they feel aren't jivin' with the vibe.Game play is pretty fast and engaging. Rules are easy and laid out nicely on the explantion sheet. Graphics of the game are fun and engaging. It's the kind of game that you can learn quickly, play a few rounds and then move on to the next game. It's similar to other games I've played. These are mostly fun and interesting topics. I could see some of them getting serious, and that's okay too. All in all we had a good time.

Fun game, easy to learn, good conversation starter.
Fun game for 2 to 8 players age 17+ according to the box. Bright colourful design, engagingly written rules sheet (and a video if you just want to scan the QR code and watch). Easy enough concept, you score for guessing correctly how many other people in the group will be of the same opinion as you, either agreeing or disagreeing with the prompt on the card. This game is another iteration of the classic concept of guessing what people’s opinions are, getting to know each other, challenging assumptions, and quite possibly having a bit of a row! For couples it could be quite thought provoking and a way to connect. I haven’t been through all the cards as don’t want too many spoilers, but the ones you can see at the ends of each pack don’t seem exactly X-rated, but perhaps there are more spicy topics in there somewhere. Not sure why there are two (unevenly sized) card packs, it’s not mentioned that I could see though I may have missed it, but from the cards I have seen one pack looks like it may have more statements most people might agree with, and the other some more divisive topics? Anyway, all the contents seem well made and this sort of game is always a way to get people talking, and no lengthy rules to spend ages getting your head around.

Average game
Something to do for a half hour or so but not exciting or eye catching, with so many games around would not bother to buy it and engage with it. I am nearly 70 and female and play video games as well as card games, bridge, whist and others which have lasted the test of time, it is rare I come across a new one that has anything going for it.

Fun game, well made, easy to play.
This is a fun game to add to game nights, especially game nights with work colleagues.Easy to understand the rules and pick up and play. It's a little like a "cards against" game without the need for someone to decide who's funniest. Some of the conversations and banter that the cards create is hilarious. The set is well made, with everything you need to get started supplied.Plenty of cards means you'll play multiple times and never come across the same stuff twice. With games like this, from small studios, I'm always surprised when the quality of the contents is so far removed from the price. I think this could be 2 or 3 times the price and you'd still be happy with it.Fun!

Read the Room Party Game
This game made by Lucky Egg is rather unique and i've not seen anything similar on the market and i enjoyed playing this with the family over the weekend. I feel it works better with more players though and is more interesting to play within a larger group. It's a fantastic game for getting to know people better and makes for interesting conversation. The game is really simple and easy to follow, some of the questions are hilarious some are just awkward but it adds to the drama of this game, i love it!
