Residential Construction Academy: House Wiring

This book I am sure was just fine in its time. Its time of publication was in 2012. Since then the NEC has been published in 2014, 2017, and 2020. This book is a 3rd addition and now there is a 5th edition. That is not clearly stated in the description. My instructor says the 4th edition would be ok, the 3rd is iffy for our purposes. Probably ok for a DYIer.

I would rate the quality of the book fair not good as it was listed spine is falling apart had to glew it back together when it arrived.

this is required reading for one of my classes for 1st semester in a local community college. Very thorough and full of super-clear diagrams and photos. Also, full of references to related NEC rules for residential wiring. Highly highly recommended whether you are pursuing an electrical career, or just serious about understanding the wiring in your own house from the from service entrance to 3-way and 4-way switches, and how to do things safely and to code. I bought this used, and it was in great shape,

Very disappointed in the quality of the book. I’m aware it’s used but it’s in bad shape. It’s extremely dirty and has dents and rips everywhere. The cover seems like it can fall off very easily. Very upset with the quality.

Great book saved me a fortune from buying new and its more or less the same as the latest version except the chapters start on different pg numbers

This book got there earlier than they had put on the estimate so it was suprise the only thing would have been better if they had a tracking number but other than that. The book was perfect condition would buy from them again
