I bought this to use with my Pixel book and it is great.I appreciate the bag that is included and the aluminum construction. I never feel good about jamming loose accessories into my laptop bag but I feel good about the durability of this.All the ports work including pass through charging. Accidentally I found out that while pass through charging my laptop, the phone that I had connected to the USB port to transfer files was also charging.I love this item so far.

I shopped around a bit as I was trying to save money. I usually try to balance the best price with best reviews and this product fell right into that sweet spot. I am very happy with the purchase. I Plugged in an external harddrive, monitor, mouse and keyboard charging cord and iphone cord and everything works perfectly, no configuration needed. Uses the charging usb-c port on the mac, doesn't even take up an extra usb-c!

Hub arrived fast and as advertised. Works well, the only things to note are, the cable may be too short if your use case is to add peripherals (Keyboard+Mouse) to a smartphone (Android, in my case), you may want/need a little more length but, it is NOT a deal breaker. Additionally, the added pass-through capabilities, which were MY main reason for getting THIS specifically, work but albeit, NOT fast charging. This may be a hardware limitation and/or a lack of option in software on MY end. That being said, I have tried multiple options available to me and it would NOT Fast-Charge so keep that in mind when using peripherals and any high processing tasks e.g. games, etc.

I was able to use this to connect a single external hard-drive, but when I plugged in a second drive neither drive would work and now I can't get my computer to recognize any external hard-drive connected this way. But I can still use it as a card-reader, and my iPod and my phone will connect and charge. It's mostly a waste since I can't use it for what I want, but it works a little bit.

I’m sort of surprised that everything worked. I haven’t used it for 4K video because I don’t have a 4K tv... but all the ports work and it’s super slim.Massively good deal for the price and my RAW photos/flash drive files transfer quickly.Although I’m thoroughly convinced the labeling is upside down (ie all the ports are labeled on the bottom), I’ll take one aesthetic mistake for the savings. As long as it works, right?

You should totally get this item if you love being extremely frustrated.Charge your phone? Error "this accessory isn't supported" and disconnects/reconnects every few seconds making that ding ding sound each time. I was always wondering how my phone was always dead after "charging".Use a wireless mouse? Imagine trying to use your mouse with precision but your mouse keeps lagging...you might replace your batteries and even get more batteries feverishly replacing them like a crazy person to solve this issue...nope...it just loses connection every few seconds.Have an external hard drive? Oh well, you will get that whole "This disk was not properly ejected" message if you try to plug it in with this...no thanks.Oh and I had a software update for my phone, well, it got disconnected during the process and I had to reset my phone to factory settings...luckily I back up my data but what a waste of time and pain in the ass this thing is.The ONLY reason I have kept using it is that I'm in denial that I wasted $40 on a piece of junk.I cannot believe I paid $40 for this defective item.

The title for this product claims that it does work on an iPAD Pro. Not true. That is, the HDMI output does work when plugged into the ipad Pro, but the USB and USB-C outputs do not work. Hence one cannot use this device to split the ipad USB-c output to both USB and HDMI. That is what I needed unfortunately.

I've been using this adapter for past few weeks with my HP Spectre 360 and it's meeting my need. HDMI and USB 3.0 work perfect and USB C port is conveniently located for plugging in charger. This adapter feels solid and now I need to buy another one for 2nd external screen. :-)
