Very good and no I did not get paid for this review.
I've a chicken farm in jamaica 🇯🇲 I shipped it to jamaica i think it about 3-4 years now and its still kicking. The only thing I did was convert the on/off switch because it was at the bottom and bending down was a pain . I've been pucking 100 to 200 chicken every 6 weeks. Very good quality. Oh I put 2 to 3 4lbs chicken in at a time.

This has been a time saver!
We bought this for our kids who are developing their property into a homestead. They raise chickens, and ducks for meat. It would perfect with the chickens, can't wait to see how the ducks turnout.

Processed 150 Chickens with this machine-- Highly Recommend
We processed 150 chickens this year using this plucker. Overall the plucker did a great job, I only have a few small complaints and thoughts1. It can handle 2 pretty good sized birds without struggling. In fact, it seemed to perform better in some ways with 2 carcasses bouncing around inside the drum. With only one carcass, the bird would occasionally get stuck in one spot with the machine still running, which doesn't remove any additional feathers and risks tearing the skin. It is not a big deal at all to simply poke the chicken with your hand to get it moving again, but worth mentioning.2. The motor will only turn on if you have attached the included contact switch to the bottom of the drum. We have had no issues yet, but I have noticed the cord tends to get beat on a little. Admittedly I don't treat it like a delicate flower, but I do wish the cord was a little more robust, or out of the way.3. We processed both the standard Cornish X, and a slower growing Red Ranger variety. The plucker cleaned our Cornish Cross beautifully, but it struggled a little with the Red Rangers. Their feathers were denser and longer, and tended to jam up the drum unless we were vigilant about running water through every couple of birds. The plucker also tends to leave feathers on the tail and "elbow" in both bird varieties. I think that is probably normal for a non-commercial machine, so just be prepared do a tiny bit of post-pluck inspection. The quality of the plucking also improved exponentially as we learned how to scald more effectively.4. The wheels tend to fall off. I lost one hitch pin and the other wheel shook loose while I was trying to replace the first. Irritating, but only a problem when moving the machine.I want to note that these are all VERY minor complaints. Overall I am very satisfied with this plucker and would happily recommend it to just about everyone. It should be noted that we really put it to the test with 150 birds, more than half of them Red Rangers with very dense feathers. We were also first-timers to the whole process in general. We were able to kill 50 chickens on the final day, and the plucker was absolutely not holding us back. For anyone processing a flock, this will absolutely get the job done.

Gets the job done
Initially I was very disappointed with this plucker. I've had it a year, had used it several times, but I had only managed to effectively pluck one chicken, a BIG cornish cross. A regular sized chicken or duck would get destroyed. Well, apparently the online recommendations of "150-155 scald water temp" is WAYYY too hot. Eventually I came across a forum post where someone said lower the temp to 130-135. Problem solved. Now it works just fine and cleans birds like they came from the meat market. It's certainly not top quality and it rather rickety, but it does get the job done.Issues I see/plan to resolve:- The power switch is on the motor (under the tub) which is annoying having to bend over to turn on/off. I came across a youtube video where a guy put a new on/off switch up on the tub, which I plan to do now.- The power cord is WAYYY too short so you can't get it far enough away from the work area to not be stepping on it/getting it wet. When I add a switch (above plan), I'll put a longer cord.- The really nice pluckers have a hose inside the tub that sprays water (connect garden hose and it sprays). Not a major deal but would be nice. Plan to fix.- The legs are really wobbly and it just doesn't feel stable. I plan to build a platform and mount it on a pallet. This will both make it more stable and get me up off the ground/out of the mud.

Great plucker 800 birds and counting
I've been running mine since 2021 with over 800 cornish cross through it now. First thing I would recommend getting is a foot pedal switch that plugs in to the cord! Makes running the hose and grabbing birds a much easier process not hunting down the power switch every time. I also put a old laundry basket under the feather dump that makes clean up much easier. The plucking fingers are holding up still but showing some ware now as I'd expect with the use. My plucker will not run on a 15 Amp breaker but never had an issue running on a 20 Amp. I've tried to do turkeys in this plucker and would not recommend for them.
