Monroe Monro-Matic Plus 32237 Suspension Shock Absorber for Ford Ranger

Allot of reviews on here with people saying they don't fit, a 94 Ford ranger they sure do and perfect. And they only charging a few extra dollars compared to Rock Auto for same part. If you need more info on these parts just look it up on rock. Glad I purchased she as stiff as a politician after election day. Ps go to the hardware store for $20 bucks get you new bolts don't use the old ones

These were installed on a standard cab 2011 Ford Ranger XL 2.4 liter. Simple and straight forward part replacement. This truck has 150,000 miles on the OEM shocks, and the handling has deteriorated over time. Installing these made and immediate improvement in road handling and straight-line tracking. We never carry heavy loads in this truck and I consider these a good standard replacement for commuter and light-duty usage. I'm very happy with their performance. FYI - I will also replace the front shocks with matching Monroe's as soon as they arrive. Very affordable.

The shocks on my Ford ranger was completely shot. I read others reviews stating that it made no difference in the ride, well they were wrong. After installing these the ride on my truck was stiffer with less body roll. Overall it worked great and for the price I couldn’t pass it up.

Fit perfectly, I would not suggest these for your truck, they work fine but have less travel than the stock shocks I took off my ranger. Going to roll them a few months then lift my trucks then replace

I can not imagine a more expensive shock riding any smoother than these do on my old 2000 Mazda B2500 (Ford Ranger). With a couple of secured quick crete bags in the bed over the rear axle for upcoming winter traction, plus these new shocks to handle the extra load the 145,000 mile wore out factory shocks had on them, man alive for a small truck this thing now rides smooth!

The advertising indicates made in China. The shocks I received were made in USA and shipped from USA. The shocks were installed on my Ford Ranger and provide a smooth ride with no wheel hopping on rough roads. There is no unusual handling at highway or passing speeds, as described by another reviewer. I can only hope these were quality built, and will not have any future issues.

Ordered 2 of these. When my order arrived they were in identical boxes so I thought nothing of it. Three weeks went by and I was finally ready to do the work and I noticed that although these shocks are the exact same shape and size, they are two different products with two completely different serieal numbers. The one labeled 32237 had a fainter looking paint and the welds were bad. Sure enough, I go to test it and it does not return to form at all. One giant dead spot on the entire shock. I didn't have time to deal with it right away so I had to install a shock that didn't work. If I peel off from a stop sign too fast, there is noticeable hopping on my rear passenger side like I'm doing a burnout. Not the quality I've come to appreciate from Monroe (this is the 3rd Mazda B series I've owned in 14 years, each time replacing with Monroe shocks). I never leave a bad review but I'm forced to get back under my truck next week and do a repair and the worst part is I'm past my return date. I'll gladly update if someone reaches out to make it right.

did not fit my ranger as described in the product description- returned four shocks-one in each of two packages and last two wrapped as one package- got refunded the individually wrapped shocks but only refunded for one of the two wrapped as one package- thought I was doing them a favor by posting the two together but only got a single refund. So, dont do any favors when returning goods.
