Won’t hold up short lengths of LED lighting strip approx 3m by 10mm
Contrary to the other two reviews here, I’ve found this useless. I’d purchased some LED lights on a roll, to be fitted indoors around a roof window, so needed something strong to counter gravity. As per my expectations, the original adhesive backing on the LED roll failed to adhere for more than minutes (I’m afraid that’s been my experience with that sort of product sent from China, having purchased similar years ago but on that occasion the LEDs were exposed outdoors). Previously, I successfully fixed the problem with a Gorilla (Trade Mark) tape that I was very pleased with. I couldn’t find anything like that this time of the right width & with a clear backing, so chose this product instead. As of today, I’ve had to reaffix the LED strips (only 3 metres long, so not heavy at all) every other day, so the best hold I’ve got out of this is a couple of days. Disappointing, especially for the cost and misleading to be advertised as “extra-strong”.
