Excellent for ESL, and a Great Value
This is a sturdy and well-build product for indoor uses. If you are new to film, studio work, or do a lot of video meetings, then this is a great product. It takes up a lot of space, as would be expected. It is useful for teaching English as a second language (ESL), which is what my plan is to use this product. It is convenient especially if you are able to leave it standing, but set up and take-down can be time consuming. It is a great value compared to other options, especially for those just starting with the hobby!

Flexible backdrop stand. Great for home studios.
I have a home office that also doubles as a mini-workshop, and I am thinking of filming some YouTube videos there in the future. I saw this backdrop stand and thought it would be an easy way to add a nice backdrop or green screen for use in those videos. Here are my thoughts.Pros:- Lightweight, compact, adjustable frame. The kit contains the height adjustable end stands, two ~31" wide end tubes for the top of the frame, two ~29" wide (assembled) cross bars for the top of the frame, a carrying bag, and 6 spring tension clamps (for holding a backdrop on the frame.) The height of the stands adjust to roughly 81" tall (give our take, depending on how wide you set the bases for the sides.) The cross bar is adjustable depending on how many of the optional center crossbars you use (0, 1, or 2) to a maximum of about 120" wide. In my setup a single optional crossbar was sufficient, and it stands at ~89" wide.- Easy assembly. The crossbars connect using simple spring mounted buttons that lock into corresponding holes in the other crossbar pieces, and the end crossbar pieces have holes for mounting on the sides stands, the tops of which are threaded posts, with a washer and a securing wingnut for each. The side stands are height adjustable using nested tubes and tension rings with thumbscrews. The bases of the side stands are also adjustable for width, but that does also affect the overall height. (Set at the maximum overall width, the bases will slightly lower the maximum height of the frame.)- Clamps have strong clamping force. The included plastic clamps have a very stiff / strong clamping force, and would certainly hold whatever they are clamping very securely.Cons:- The included roll-up storage bag is intended to hold the side stands and crossbars, but does not really accommodate the included spring clamps. You may be able to shove them in there, but I don't think the design was intended to easily/safely accommodate them natively. Just be aware of this if you will want to make this a mobile setup.- One of the spring tension clamps arrived broken (see photo.) The clamps have very heavy clamping force, but are otherwise fairly cheap plastic, and are prone to typical issues for clamps of this type: the plastic tips may break, or the plastic of the clamp itself may break, etc.- The manufacturer lists the maximum load at 11lbs. I did not test this, but doing some quick searches, this will likely cover only "bare" lightweight fabric or paper backdrops, at least at the full width. I would like to use it with a retractable backdrop, but I have found only a few retractable ones under 11 lbs. (and typically they are less than 75" wide. This is probably fine for me, but be aware of this limitation depending on your need.) Despite the manufacturer claim, I wouldn't necessary consider this "heavy duty."I suspect this is a decent solution for most home video/photos studios, or temporary / mobile indoor photography backdrop setups. I would definitely consider this for fairly lightweight use but it may not be strong/stable enough for heavy backdrops or for outdoor use. I am happy with this setup for my purposes!

Photo back drop Stand
It is easy to assemble and It is huge ! Great quality also. Sturdy and looks professional. I purchased to hang a greenery wall off of it but it is super useful in so many ways. Highly recommend.

NOT heavy duty
I've been using this for a little over a week and it's already sagging in the middle. The picture makes it look far more sturdy than it is. I can probably flip the bar over, but you shouldn't have to. The stand would have been a lot more sturdy if they used rectangular shaped poles, at least across the top. I've zip tied a steel rod across the center third of the bar and it's not quite as bad. But even the clips are cheap and the orange tips keep falling off when changing backdrops. I ended up getting heave duty clips to keep them from popping off. I'd invest a little more if you actually intend on using this product for a business and want it to last.

Works great as projector screen stand
This adjustable stand is great to use for a projector setup in my case. The tripods are sturdy and the clips were super helpful to keep everything spread out evenly.

Not really heavy duty and too short
These stands are decent but have a number of shortfalls.Let's start with the heavy-duty part (as advertised). They are not heavy duty and when fully extended seems a little flimsy. The vertical pole is made of 3 sections. Legs if fully extended start losing stability. Which brings me to the second point. Fully extended, this stand claims 6'5". That's probably true but workable height is closer to 5'8" to 5'10". At this point these stands are quite stable.Unfortunately, this height is another shortfall of this product. I can see it working for a sitting portrait work, but this is where the usefulness ends. The crossbar is made of 4 pieces that snap together and are reasonably stable. Clamps for the background are also provided. The vertical stands and cross-bar pack into a bag provided with this product. Unfortunately when packed, this bag is pretty long at 32 inches. There is no place to store the clamps (and no separate bag for those either). This product can work in specific cases but as designed it is pretty limiting, so good value on surface may be not so good if you consider alternatives and all of your use cases.

Ok for the price
This backdrop stand is thin and a bit flimsy so I wouldn't add too much weight on it. It is still ok for lightweight decorations. I ordered the 10ftx6ft so is it not that tall but ok for a kid's party celebration 👍

Heavy Duty labeling is a stretch
Real quick -- does this do what it's supposed to do -- yes. Is it heavy duty, as it says in the labeling --- no, not at all. When the item arrived, the holding bag was already ripped by the bars inside the bag, even though the bars will still coated with plastic. That gives you an idea of how thin the material is and how sharp the metal pipes are (thin metal). Using a caliper it shows the metal pipes are only 0.5mm thick, which is very, very thin. This is something to keep in mind, especially if you plan to use a full-size screen with any heavier material as don't think the pipes could handle it over time. For lighter backdrops and simple items, this works great. The adjustments are very nice and it does come with everything you need to get started. The main thing to keep in mind is that it is not heavy duty and don't expect to keep the transport bag in one piece over time.
