Sound Percussion Labs Hickory Drumsticks 4-Pack 5B Nylon

I bought a bundle of these sticks awhile back and started noticing something I have never seen in literally 55 years of drumming. The plastic tips dissolve a little every time you use them. To make matters worse, they fill up the snare ring with this insane plastic residue. When I first noticed it, I though maybe my heads might be needing replacing, but after closer observation, I noticed the heads were fine, but the tips of the sticks, were half the size of a new pair. I have had plastic tips break after a ton of use, but never just disintegrate and leave this white flake off dust allover the ring of my snare. My snare ring cups in, not out like my toms, so I did not notice the accumulated build up on my toms, but my snare has a 1/4 inch of this stuff in it now. Use a better material for your tips, or stop selling these and go in the fire wood business instead. Where sticks are concerned, you get what you pay for. These are junk, IMO. Never had an issue like this, ever, with Remo tips.
