The media could not be loaded.  These grippers are ok for lightweight items. However due to the plastic build they will struggle with heavier bowls or trays.They look ok but feel a bit flimsy when in use. The grip is strong though thanks to the silicone clips.There is a reason there are 2 of them - if you're about to take out a baking tray out of the oven with a cake inside, you will need both. No chance you can do it with just one of those grippers.Partially it's because they are quite narrow. But they're multi-purpose - they'll do fine with a smaller round bowl, while wider ones wouldn't.So are they worth getting? Unfortunately no. For just £1 more over the £8 price here you can get stainless steel grippers, which are way stronger and will resist heat. These will do fine in some cases, but I'd rather have something that's of better build.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

I used it straight away as I was using air fryer with a glass dish I used the grips to lift dish out off air fryer I noticed that part of the silicone I think is silicone looks like it has melted. I was very concerned about the safety and the use of them regarding any toxins was release. Don’t they test the grips. ? They literally melted. I returned them immediately.

I'm terrified of dropping containers of hot oil, so experimented with these clips, using larger and larger water-filled dishes, up to eight inches wide.They gripped them all perfectly, without the slightest movement.I can now use them confident they will be invaluable when getting hot dishes out of the oven.UPDATE - do not use with very hot dishes, as the grips melt.

Rubbish product. Badly made. Did not work. Melted when I tried a hot pan. Wasted my money.
