It's not like advertised.
I was sure, the set is like on description but as you can see the pictures of the product has no perfect shape like on description, it SMELS like burning foam (log way to positive), tested with fire, IT'S FLAMMABLE. How it works with soundproofing? It's under tests. If I have to be honest, it's not worth the price advertised. Plus for small double sided squares of tape to stick it on the wall.

Sound Proofing Panels
This pack of sound proofing panels is fantastic. The panels arrive plastic wrapped and squished together with sheets of double sided sticky squares. You should unpack these and either leave them out for quite a while to let them regain their shape or you can follow the instructions in the listing to wash and dry them in an attempt to help them regain their shape quicker.I opted to just leave them out without washing them and eventually they did regain their shape with just a few minor dents that don't seem to come out. These panels are different than others because they don't have the entire back of them as a sticky pad. Instead you use the sheets of double sided tape to attach these to the wall, which works quite well and I haven't had any issues of them falling off of the wall either. I am a bit nervous to try to remove the double sided tape squares as I don't want the remove the paint from my walls but hopefully that won't be an issue in the future. As for performance, they do work great and reduce the echo and some other noises in the room for sure.Overall, this is a great pack of acoustic panels that are soft enough to absorb and deflect sound unlike other brands. The difference of sticking them to the wall using double sided pads is also different from others but it seems to work just as well.

These are 2" thick and fairly dense.
These pads were really compressed and about 2/3rds of them did not want to expand after several day on their own. I ended up taking them in the courtyard and laying them out and spray misted them with the hose and then let them sit in the Arizona sun for like 30 minutes and they were all fully expanded. The foam is pretty dense so this should keep the window from rattling in the theater room. These do not come with the paper peel and stick backing on them. They do give you some clear sheets off double side pads that you can use though. This was the worst part the backing on one side is a real pain to get off and you have 5 of these on each tile, it sucked doing these. the clear adhesive pads do stick really well so don't make a mistake because they don't give you any extras, 5 per tile is all you get. I used precision tweezers to separate the one backing on the pads, pretty much impossible to do with your fingers. so if you have the patience to deal with the sticky pads you will probably like these acoustic tiles. If my window still rattles after this I will update this. Thanks for reading.

Adding some color to my room
They come vacuum packed to reduce shipping size. After letting them sit for a few days they mostly returned to a normal size. The included two sided mounting tape appears to work but it was very difficult to peel the cover off the tape so I ended up using some other two sided tape I have on hand. They are not perfectly square even after waiting a few days after removing them from the packaging but that doesn't appear to impact performance.

These are top quality DENSE foam !
These are some of the best acoustic panels I've gotten yet, and I use LOTS of them. The sound dampening quality is outstanding once you get them fully expanded. Since we're talking about that, they are not to impressive when first unpacking them, and I put them under a hot light for the night where half of them fully expanded. The other half were a different story, so I actually read the manufacturer's instructions and tried "Option 1" which was to soak the panels, wring them out fully, then dry them. I should've done this in the first place because every panel turned out perfect !! I can't speak of the adhesive squares, though they are quite "sticky". I use a spray on adhesive on most of my panels. These are pretty nice for the price and one of my favorites, especially on the wall behind my studio monitors !! FOLLOW the directions....and you'll love them...lol.
