I'm old school, needed a new 'scope. Found out they don't make analog scopes any more ......
I constantly harass the guys at work who use digital scopes, all the times they can't figure out what they're looking at. And I have to tell them what they see is just the digital scope trying to fake a signal from data. Bad triggering, quantization error, aliasing, holding a signal instead of displaying current data that it couldn't trigger on, there's no end to it. Throw it on my analog scope, the signal literally writes itself on the front of the CRT.What's more, I'm one of those fogeys who grew up on vacuum tubes and dial phones and the software that runs digital stuff like smartphones just bewilders and frustrates me. Which is kinda funny, because I understand the guts of computers and write PIC assembly code that's not only bug-free, it's so well documented that other engineers can work with it and even convert the whole product to C code. But now I'm setting up a new workbench at home, out of my own pocket. And find out I can't buy an analog scope. They don't make 'em any more. Dreaded fighting with a digital 'scope. And on a budget, it was gonna have to be something with a touchscreen. Designed for people who grew up with cellphones and it's their "normal".Well, at least this one got fairly good reviews, and looked like it delivered good value in its price range. Would i ever actually get it to display a waveform?i figured the thing out pretty quick without help from anyone. The user interface is incredibly well thought out. A masterpiece of elegant simplicity. Where's all the fiddles for getting it to trigger on the signal? Oh, It finds the signal and triggers on it automatically. As well as I'd be able to if I had to fight with it manually. Works beautifully.Complaints? Signals look noisy because of quantization errors (in fact, it's a good tool for explaining quantization noise to someone who doesn't understand the concept). But the manufacturer even has a "fix" for that: press the "button" and it holds the signal. Now it looks clean, it's not shimmering. ...... And, the scope probes are cheap. But good probes cost money, shouldn't expect good quality probes on an instrument in this price range. They work, they're usable. Good enough.Never thought I could love a digital "gadget". But I really love this little 'scope.

A nice test instrument at a very good price
I am impressed with the operation and accuracy of this oscilloscope. It is the right size, it is laid out well, with easy to use intuitive software and standard BNC inputs. I especially like how easy it is to set up the measurements as it assembles them at the bottom of the screen in the order that you select them. If want a different arrangement, deselect and reselect in a new order. Very nice!I was also impressed with how it handled high frequencies. I connected it to my RF signal generator operating at 100MHz and it came right up looking like a clean audio sine wave! No struggling to sync it or fuzzy analog image. It does not have an individual DC measurement to select from, but of course you can see any DC component on the waveform if it is DC coupled. I may have only given it four stars for this if it were higher priced, but at this price it is an excellent value! I really like it!

Good scope for those quick portable measurements; Bandwidth lower than spec and not a great low end.
Love the interface after trying many portable scopes with too many buttons and adjustment knobs. Touch interface makes the adjustments easy. Battery life could be better, but very usable. Screen captures are great; sync's well, but I have not exercised this in all conditions yet. I have a good Tektronix TDS2014 4 channel scope which I use daily, but it is a little big for many portable applications. It is close to 10 years old and likely makes better measurements than this portable scope. This ADS1013D can make many of the measurements I make and is much more portable. The touch interface is a great plus. Don't expect it to perform as well as the much, much more expensive models, but is easier to use than those or the USB scopes that display on your computer(Their interface is usually clumsy and lacking in the control I am used to).

Wonderful scope!
I would have never thought I could get a 2 channel scope for this cheap and actually have it work. This thing is amazing and setup takes like a minute tops. If you just need basic checking without setting up a full on scope like a Pico then this thing is what you want. I regularly use it for bus communication lines and sensor signal checking. Highly recommend.

It's a 1013D, Set your expectations appropriately
The portability, convenience, and price are why this scope can be worthwhile. The battery allows for easy differential probing too. Perfect for work in the field. But the hardware specs listed for any 1013d oscilloscope are laughable at best. This is a 20MHz scope. Maybe 30MHz if you're only looking at sine waves. This is not a "real" scope, but that's okay given the price. The timing accuracy doesn't need to be great to get a functional measurement. The ADC resolution is fine but the software won't allow zooming in to more than 50mv/div. The probe compensation for 10x can't be set perfectly on my unit, but for the higher voltage measurements it's needed for this is usually insignificant. It should be used primarily in 1x mode for the extra resolution anyway.Overall this is a good product hurt by false listed specs. If the specs listed were correct this would cost 3x as much and listing them this way harms the manufacturers reputation, seller's reputation when it inevitably can't perform as listed, and consumer when they expect something too good to be true.YEAPOOK could differentiate themselves from the competition if they were upfront about the limitations of their portable oscilloscopes. A quick Internet search quickly shows the real limits anyway and there are cases where they truly are the right tool for the job.

Buen producto para principiantes.
Me gustó la forma rápida de ajuste. No me gustó el manual. Debió ser más extenso.

Only had it for one job but really easy to use
Used it to test some sensors on a car then sold it again. Never used an oscilloscope before. Simple enough to pick up and use to get a result.

funziona bene e costa abbastanza poco
l'unico problema è che è difficile usare il trigger col sistema del touch-screen.
