Works great!

I bought this for the price thinking it wasn’t worth it. To my surprise it is very nice. Welds great and is very compact. Will keep it in my rotation truck for small jobs. Very impressed how well it works. My neighbor seen it a purchase him one. I was welding 1/4” mild steel and seems to have good penetration. Used Hobart 3/32 6013 rods. I recommend this for as a secondary welder or if you just need something around the house

small but weld's good for small and med jobs

It's worth buying especially when you have things that need welding, I've owned a gas welding setup and very used to welding but there is a learning curve with electric that you must be able to figure out, your going to need alot of rods so get 5 lbs at a time, do your research on what kind you'll need, definitely worth the price ...ground clamp is kinda crappie just use vicegrips to hold, thanks

Very good, very small

Gave the unit a good workout to see if it would trip a 20 amp breaker.I started welding at 20 amps and increased the amperage in 10 amp increments and finished at 200 amps.The unit worked flawlessly and did not trip the breaker. It is worth noting that I was using a 100 foot long 16 AWG extension cord.The supplied welding rods are all 1/8 inch and labeled XG J422. The gloves are heavy duty and prevented burns. The chipping hammer and wire brush worked well.

This item feels cheap, I would love it if it actually welded, mine worked a little bit but the welds were quite week and after using it and trying to turn it back on it wouldn’t work. This is quite upsetting as I was trying to weld an engine plate for an upcoming project but that project was cancelled.
