More than just a slicer, TechCulinary Mandolin slicer allows you to slice, julienne, grating and shred your favorite fresh produce. Just trim both ends of a fruit or vegetable, cut food down to appropriate size to fit inside food holder. Press food onto the prongs to secure. Place the food holder on the mandoline. Begining at the top of the mandoline and with slight pressure, slide the food holder downward ensuring to clear the V Cutting Blade. Dad loves it!
I purchased this for my father. He loves it! He has a vegetable garden and is enjoying this mandolin slicing his vegetables and making "fancy" dishes. Blades are sharp and do a fine job, even on tomatoes. I'm happy that I purchased it for him. He's enjoying it.

Sweet Potatoes work with momentum
slices sweet potatoes. You will have to build momentum. And if you're older or weaker it might get stuck on the sweet potatoes. Makes light work of them for me. In 10-15 seconds I have about 1/2" of potato left and a good 1.5lbs of slices.

More than what I expected! I haven't really used it thoroughly yet , need to get the vegies and fruit to start dehydrating....Will need to get used to using which blade for what...used it for 1 onion and celery for egg salad...Although I am over all very pleased with the quality and sturdiness,compared to 1 other I used many years ago..Thanks PJ

Great Value and Amazing Tool
I spent a lot of time researching a mandoline prior to purchase. This one seemed to be and is just what I wanted. It is not bulky, has some versatility and is easy to use. It is a great addition to my kitchen tools.Service was prompt and it arrived as promised. Great value. I do enjoy the end result of having uniform slices, and pieces...is just looks better.

Not super sturdy
For an affordable slicer, it did fine. The plastic pieces are a little flimsy and don't expect those gloves to give you much protection! I wish I would have invested a little more money onto something sturdier, but it would be fine for occasional home kitchen use.

Well made, and easy to clean.
Wonderfully easy to use. Easy to clean and very well manufactured. I was able to slice up several of my favorite vegetable for a lasagna in no time, and much more quickly than using a kitchen knife. I look forward to trying out all the attachments.
