I love the wide variety of cover colors, everything from black to vivid to pastels! I'm elderly and have started writing more things down, instead of relying on my memory -- To Do Lists, an exercise log for physical therapy and general fitness (there are a lot more PT than there used to be, lol), "remember to tell my friend" lists (amusing bits of info), journaling, and even some short stories that I'm too shy to let anyone else read yet. I enjoy the feel of writing with a good pen (and hand writing something helps me remember it better than typing it) so this herd of slim notebooks is going to give me a lot of pleasure. I've already picked one for "improve your penmanship" practice -- good thing I'm not famous, no one can read my handwriting anymore after years of fast scribbling.The notebooks themselves are good quality, overall. The paper is reasonably thick and doesn't bleed through with gel pens. The lines aand margin lines are clearly printed on both sides of each sheet. The margin on the back side is at the left, rather than on the binding side. The binding is a thick-wire spiral and the wire ends are curved in and back so they don't snag or poke anything. The holes for the binding spiral are cleanly and evenly cut. Each sheet has a perforation so you can tear it out and put it in a three-ring binder; the three holes are prepunched. All of this is pretty standard, I'm just confirming that yep, it's as expected. As the product description says, these notebooks are 8x10.5 inches, not 8.5x11 inches.I'm actually giving these notebooks 4.5 stars rounded up to five, for three reasons.* The first is trivial -- the company/product label on the front seems obtrusive to me. It's a 2.75x3 inch white rectangle with the company name, number of sheets, and other product information. I can cover it with a label or sticker, but it bugs me.*The second is also pretty trivial -- some of the notebook front covers have flaws in the color printing, pale or white spots. I bang up my notebooks with use so they'll collect more flaws on the cover, and the flaws are minor, so no problem for me, but the front covers of a few of the 24 notebooks didn't arrive pristine. The flaws do seem to be a printing defect, not damage.* The third might matter. The three pre-punched holes are 3/16 inch/ 5 mm across, which might be a bit small for some binder rings. Won't be a problem for me, but it seems worth mentioning.Overall, I'm quite pleased with these notebooks. The 70 sheets (140 pages) isn't intimidating, I expect to use them all without feeling like it's a Grand Project. The materials are reasonable quality, better than similar notebooks I've gotten at a lower price. I recommend them.

With this big box of college rules notebooks, I won’t have to run out and buy notebooks for a while. The pages are thin but gel ink didn’t bleed through when I was testing it out. I like the colors and my daughter especially like the pastel ones. It’s a fair price.

These are used for many things around our home besides school like for journal making, household projects, and making grocery lists and recipe books. Great quality and they stand up well against time. Love being able to purchase them in bulk as our family goes thru them fast.
