This neoprene cover was exactly as described and fit my Rubbermaid 12 quart container like a glove and made it much quieter than I expected. I bought with the red version since it matches our kitchen colors, and also looks great outdoors when I BBQ as well. The packaging was great, there was a slight odor at first but quickly went away, and I plan on using it every time we sous vide.

I bought this insulating sleeve because it had the upgraded neoprene and it has been fantastic.So far it seems to have done a better job at preventing temperature drops during long cooks and also does a a great job of absorbing the condensation that builds up during a cook. I highly recommend this if you have a Rubbermaid container and love sous vide cooking like I do..

Fits well, but smells of chemicals
koRVELLA needs to add a step to their processing. They need to wash or find another method to get rid of the terrible chemical odor on these sleeves. I ASSUME the odor comes from the paint they used when putting on their company name. If so, change the paint and make the name MUCH smaller. I won’t use this around ANY food until the smell is totally gone! Chemicals like these have no place around food! The large name on these WILL serve a purpose. It will remind me NOT to buy from them in the future, Only one star for being unsafe around food because of the chemicals! And the trouble I’ll have to go through to get rid of ithem!

Thick neoprene, not stitched on 2 sides of the bottom.
This has nice thick neoprenefits the container nicely my only complaint is the bottom is not stitched on 2 sides. Not sure why it is not stitched.

High quality, works as advertised, definitely recommend getting one
We receive our Korvella sous vide sleeve the other day and so far we’ve only used it once but I did notice that I was able to get up to my temperature faster that without it. It acts like a “koozie” for the Rubbermaid container and looks really nice in our kitchen. The stitching around the seems looks like good quality (I’ll guess we’ll see over time). Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, the sleeve really works as advertised and will make a good gift for our friends who also got into sous vide cooking. BTW our first use was a Santa Maria style Tri Tip from CostCo that we cooked for 2 hours at 130 degrees and a nice sear on a cast iron skillet….DELICIOUS!!!!
