Awesome 100% Glass Food Storage Containers
This product is amazing. I needed to write a review for it because this product doesn't have enough. First off, it's entirely glass (the container and the lid). If you've been looking for glass meal prep food storage containers then you know how hard it is to find glass lids (they are almost always plastic). It's microwave safe and it is dishwasher safe (although I hand wash it). I use this to bring my lunch to work. It's amazing. It has a lid with a vent so when you're using the break room microwave at work your food stays clean and fresh. I love how it's also air tight, no leaks as I bring it to work in my bag. The glass also feels very premium and heavy duty, it's not thin glass. If you're hesitant about this product don't be. I got the 4 pack of 35oz containers and it's really a game changer.

All glass with silicone and great quality
I bought these because I wanted all glass (containers and top) and liked that they are; plus, they have silicone seals, not plastic. These are great! I'm very pleased with them. The glass of the containers and tops is thick enough to be strong (adds weight, but I don't think it's too much). The silicone seal is tight (I tested for water leakage and had none) and they are easy to put on and remove (undo the plug before you remove the lid so you don't have the air-tight seal). I also like that each lid has a pre-drilled hole for venting - makes heating in the microwave easy. I've run them through the dishwasher and they cleaned-up nicely.

Best glass storage containers I've ever owned
These are amazing. First, there is zero plastic, since the lids are glass with silicone frame. The lids fit the containers extremely well. They seem completely liquid-tight. Love the fact that the lids have openable vents, which allows you to microwave with the lid on (don't forget to open the vent!). The containers themselves seem solid, made of thick glass with no sharp edges.

Excellent but smaller than expected-see photos, updated third time with quality issue
I had ordered a couple of sets of the larger Urban Green glass containers previously and loved them. I've been searching and searching for similar, smaller containers and didn't realize that the small set of these, listed as 10 oz, 17 oz, and 27 oz is almost perfect for me.I took photos next to a tissue box so that you can see how small these containers are. But small is what I was looking for so I'm happy.I also set one next to an old rubbermaid so you can see that the 10 oz of this glass container is about the same capacity as an 8 oz. rectangle rubbermaid. I put a cup of liquid in each and you can tell that they both hold about the same amount. For health reasons, I'm getting rid of all the plastic in my house and find this brand to be the best quality of all the ones I've tried. Unlike others, they are stackable and the lids are dishwasher safe. I highly recommend these and wish I'd switched from plastic to glass long ago to avoid some of the health problems plastics can cause.Latest update: Some of the lids to the new containers strangely don't fit. I'm taking a photo of the two different lids but you can see that one has an inner indentation on it. Make sure that all the lids fit as soon as they arrive. For some strange reason, I now have a lid that doesn't fit the set, even though all my current sets are from Urban Green. It appears they make have changed the design or manufacturer because some of the new lids and containers do not match the older ones I purchased. This is highly irritating to have mismatched sets so I hope they will improve their quality consistency soon.

not tempered glass, with care they can be useful
due to all the reviews claiming chipping of glass i can only assume this is not a tempered glass. as others have said, the lid is plastic covered with silicone outer rim. to avoid chipping, nested stacking isnt recommended as dings from contacting the other glass will chip. to avoid this i stack with lids on, sandwiching the glass with silicone. and hand wash.other than that, they are pretty. i like how food looks in them, how they stack neatly in the fridge. i wont freeze them. they serve their purpose. to remove lid its best to open the bung hole first as the seal will make it hard to remove the lid. i have reheated food with no problems. the lids take awhile to dry due to the seal.

Worth Paying a Bit More
I was looking for glass storage containers that had lids other than those with the snap flap closures (which I don't like because they get warped and are hard to close). I'm happy with these. The glass is hefty, the four sizes provide flexibility, they nest perfectly so storage is easy, and the lids seal well. I always wash the lids by hand, even though they're marked dishwasher safe. I think they'll last longer that way. The set is a bit pricey, but I had a gift card so I could try them with little risk. After using them, I'd be willing to pay full price because they work well and will last.

Not plastic free. The lids are made of plastic!
The media could not be loaded. I took a video so you can hear it for yourself. The container itself is glass, but the lids are made of plastic with a silicone lining. The product itself is genuinely high quality, so I feel bad giving a low rating. The plastic on the lids is of high quality, thick. Unfortunately, the advertising is misleading. I've recently been on the hunt for plastic free tupperware as I've recently become greatly concerned about microplastics. Glass lids seem to be hard to find. If you're looking for plastic-free, I'd say look for wooden lids. I recently got some glass tupperware with wooden lids and a small strip of silicone for the seal. Those seem pretty good. The hunt for glass lids continues. Haha.

Beautiful and Effective food containers
I had previous glass food containers with plastic tops. I wanted to avoid plastics so I bought these as a replacement. The seal, I feel is more sealed than with a plastic alternative. I believe how it works is with natural air suction. They feel very clean and is truly, no plastic.
