This backpack was really close to getting 5 stars, but a few little foibles kept it at 4. This pack is very well-made with sturdy nylon fabric, excellent zippers and substantial padding in the straps and handle. The back plate is molded firm plastic with air channels for breathability. The zipper pulls are large and comfortable. There is one large main compartment with several interior pockets and an elastic laptop strap. There are also 2 smaller exterior pockets, one that zips and one that velcros. There are 2 mesh water bottle pockets, but they are quite narrow and will not accommodate many water bottles. There is a chest strap and reflective accents. My gripes? the quality control is a little sloppy as far as trimmed-off bights, and the "decorations" were stitched on WITH their protective plastic film in place: very annoying, as the user has to pick bits of film out of the stitching. It does not peel off cleanly. All the packs in this line are dark blue; the color listed in the ad is the accent color. Overall a very good pack at a reasonable price for what you get; should last for years.
