I bought one of these Amope foot files years ago, and when it finally stopped working (the batteries corroded), I bought this replacement. The new design is great. The handle is longer and slimmer, making it easier to grip. the battery compartment is waterproof, so I'm thinking the batteries will be less likely to rust or corrode. I also like that it came with a coarse crystal head. It worked quickly and easily and my feet were much softer after one use.

I'm getting too old and tired to pumice my feet manually. This works as well or better than pumicing with zero effort. It's most effective when your feet are dry, which is the opposite of pumicing which works best wet, so I don't have to scrub my feet in the shower, I can relax on the sofa watching a show and let the device do all the work. My husband is also very happy with how smooth my feet feel afterwards.

Wow! My feet are smooth and callous-free and it only took 15 minutes. Great for flip flop season and between pedicures.

This will be my second Amope Pedi callous remover. Had the dark pink body version purchased from a physical store for about three years. One day it just quit and it wasn't a battery issue. So that appears to be the lifetime of the device but it really works well especially for the price which is cheaper than when I bought it three years ago!I find that it works well on rough areas of your heel and anywhere else a callous can form on your feet. The sander attachment is easily replaceable and the generic versions work just as well as the Amope brand. In fact the attachment in this package wasn't as high quality as generic versions. The white rough crystals were not consistently applied to surface of the grinder with many areas just black.I actually removed it and used a generic grinder. Great product and reasonable price!

I love this thing! I’ve used it once and the one time made my feet smoother than they’ve been in quite some time and it was the best thing I needed to help me feel like I’m taking care of myself. I also don’t like people touching my feet so being able to use this at home before showering is perfect for me. This was well worth the money and the spare head replacements aren’t a bad price either.

This foot file is exactly as described - comes with batteries, put them in, turn it on, gently file away all the dead skin on your feet, have nice feet again! It works SO well! It is a whole different world of effectiveness compared to using a manual file on your feet.I go barefoot/wear sandals a bunch in the summer and every year I develop serious calluses on my heels. I used to halfheartedly manually file them or hope the occasional pedicure would help, but the manual effort to results ration just isn't that great. After a single 30 minute session of using this tool the calluses were 90% gone. I have been doing maintenance sessions about every 2 weeks to work on the tougher areas where the calluses like to come back, and my feet are softer and smoother than I can recall.Using it was totally comfortable, obviously don't apply it to a spot where you don't have calluses or dead skin to remove, but it feels like something between a foot massage and a slight tickle. I actually wish I had gotten the heavy duty / extra grit file roller because it probably would speed things up, but given that the file roller is replaceable I'll just buy that one when the time comes.This tool seriously changed my feet, I thought it might be too good to be true after such lackluster results from manually filing. But because it can file so much faster, it's so much more effective. It's like a tiny gentle Dremel for your feet. I'm seriously considering buying more as gifts for the other ladies in my family.

As someone who uses a pumice stone on my feet every time I shower, my feet don't usually end up dry/scaly/cracking. But after a couple of weeks of hiking and camping, my feet were looking the worse for wear, so I thought I'd try this Amope electric option to see if I could get the same quick and baby-soft results most reviewers reported. So I was surprised that it didn't do as good a job as my inexpensive Mr. Pumice callus remover/foot smoother. The Amope tool also took longer to use, was way messier (I took one reviewer's suggestion to use sitting on the edge of a bathtub with my feet over the tub, and I'm glad I did), and took longer to clean (had to clean with an old toothbrush to remove dry skin particles that clogged up the roller).I did find that the Amope roller works better on dry feet, though it's meant to be used on wet or dry feet. The first time I used it, my feet were dry, but I'd just got out of the shower. The second time, I used it on dry feet before showering, and I'll admit it did a better job, but not enough to say it's superior to a regular, low-tech, low-cost pumice stone. That said, I think this tool might be more effective and easier to use if it were just a flat disk that rotated, instead of a roller.
