Urolithin A Supplement, 1000mg Urolithin A, 120 Capsules

I have been taking this for a while now, and I'm pleased with the quality of this supplement. What makes it stand out from other Urolithin A is the added supplements. Usually, I prefer no added vitamins, but Tumeric, pepper, and pomegranate extract are a bonus. The capsules have no smell or flavor. I highly recommend it.

I got this because I like the health benefits that Urolithin A possibly may have at the DNA level. There have a been a few new studies with it and unfortunately the increased activity supposedly observed with the mitochondria was not as much as I was hoping for with one study even calling it insignificant. However all three of the studies did indicate possibly an increase with some of the mitochondria functions ( and there was no decrease observed). This would seem to indicate to me that any possible benefit from Urolithin A would probably have to be through long term usage. It's the small possible daily improvements add up concept imo. When I consider that it is speculated that Urolithin A is involved with possibly improving genetic transcription I am very receptive to this being a long term part of my stack. One of the hallmarks of aging is one/some of the switches so to speak in our gene profile improperly functioning and being in the wrong position thus allowing possibly cell mutations and health threats. I think it is an effort worth endeavoring to do what we can to insure genetic integrity as much may be possible. Many people have tried to access the Urolithin A possible benefits through pomegranate supplementation alone. However for Urolithin A to be be converted from pomegranate requires select strains of bacteria in the gut microbiome which most of use do not have. If you happen to be one that does have those strains, there is pomegranate extract in this product. And too not needing a conversion (with bacteria) with pomegranate is the ellagic acid found in pomegranate that I like for its possible health benefits with skin and being an antioxidant which is why I take about 500 mgs of it daily and welcome to have more. And speaking of skin I absolutely love the Astaxanthin in this which is a ketocarotenoid. It is a very strong antioxidant IMO, so much so it is reported to be 6000 times stronger than vitamin C. I consider this ingredient personally one of the best ones imo for my skin health. Notice how this product has a modest amount of it with only 4 mgs which leads me to believe this product is being transparent and honest. The normal typical dosage imo for stand alone Astaxanthin is about 12 mgs but this brand disclosed honestly they used 4 mgs with two capsules. I like seeing honest transparency like that. Also they indicate the Urolithin A is 99% pure which is encouraging to me personally if it is,, or close to it. I like the turmeric in this for the immune enhancing benefits it may possibly have and notice once again modest amounts imo (50 mgs with two capsules) was used. With Urolithin A being associated with actions at the DNA level its most probable imo you will not notice or feel anything but I can't rule it out. Especially if it does indeed possibly help correct/improve a facet of health. I did not see where this was third party lab tested but I do see that non-gmo ingredients were utilized which is what I prefer as I think they may work better. I had no bad sides with this and these caps were easy to take. Good Luck and I Hope this was Helpful.

Had no clue this was a product directly from China.Unfortunately there is NO SEALS that validate how it was manufactured, what quality of ingredients were used & if there was any 3rd party testing done to prove what is in this.Won't use it because it could be high in heavy metals & contaminates & how am I to know!!!This is just my own personal concerns!

I have taken curcumin for some time for that the health benefits it is supposed to provide. After reading an article about urolithin, my husband encouraged me to try it since this supplement includes curcumin as well as other potentially helpful ingredients, like Urolithin A, pomegranate, black pepper, & Astaxanthin. Urolithin A is a dietary supplement said to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and to assist in mitochondrial health. This bio-fermented version of Urolithin A is believed to be helpful, especially to seniors, since fermentation of many foods increases their bioavailability to the body. The product page states that this supplement is made of “pure natural ingredients” which would (hopefully) ensure its “purity and potency.” It is also supposed to be “non-GMO, soy-free, sugar-free, & vegan-friendly.” All this information led me to try it. I have been taking it now for a couple of weeks and I cannot say if it makes any specific difference, but it is easier to take these 2 capsules daily to provide all these ingredients, rather than multiple pills. I do note that this product is manufactured in China at a “Bioengineering” company, which worries me slightly.

This Urolithin A Supplement came well-sealed and contained 120 Capsules, with one Serving Size being 2 Capsules. The Capsules are easy to swallow and don’t have any bad Aftertaste. I like the Combination of Healthy Ingredients for General Health. I also like that this Supplement is free from GMOs and Gluten as well as for its good Value.

Label says "high dodotay" but that is not an English word and I don't know what it means. I'm disappointed also that it says manufacturerd by Guangzhou Yitijian BIOENGINEERING CO.. BIOENGINEERING??? NO THANK YOU. THEN it also says on the label a long address next to the Dabu River that (quote) "can be used as a factory". Uh, say what? This is gravely concerning for something to be ingested and it's apparently bioengineered.
