Trees don’t scratch off
The trees do not scratch off very easily at all. I ruined the paper trying to get it to even looked remotely scratched. So sad

Scratch-off ages and becomes tear-up
I searched far and wide for the ideal scratch-off national parks map and this one was the best design - perfect, I thought. After it arrived, we scratched off the 30-something parks we've already checked off. As we returned to scratch off more, the scratch-off material became harder and harder to scratch off. At this point, it order to "scratch off" we have to tear deep into the poster and then use a green marker to cover up the damage. :( Sadly we are throwing it away and searching for a replacement, knowing that this was the best design out there.
