Large Black Wooden Hat Stand with Velour Top by Tripar

My goals for a hat stand purchase:1. Price.. Cant' beat four hat stands at $18.27. I will buy four more.2. Style... I needed something that virtually disappeared when used with a hat. Once the ridiculous ribbon is removed, there is nothing less obtrusive than a thin black pole. It makes the hat looks like it is floating. This is the most utilitarian style I've found anywhere. Would have given the product five stars without the ribbon. I suppose a black ribbon is appropriate if you're selling hats for funerals.

Overall well made with nice clean finish! Interestingly it looks better than in the product photos. The base as a more rounded look at the top is covered in a kind of fabric material. I’m using one to display a rubber movie prop head, but it should work for a lot of different objects—hats, helmets, etc. I would plan on buying more of these!

Used to rest antique battle helmets. While they did the job, a couple still have parts of the helmet touching the display shelf. It would be nice to have one in a slightly larger size.

I needed a stand to display my game used batting helmet in my mancave, and this stand does the job. The stand seems fairly well made and looks good. I removed the bow/ribbon that came with it. The top of the stand is just big enough to balance the helmet. For the price, I'm satisfied.

I purchased two of these to display my husband's autographed football helmets. I removed the bows, and they worked fine. I think that they would tip easily if nudged or bumped so we placed them up out of reach. They suit my need just as I hoped.

Displays a hat nicely as a decorative item in a bedroom. The black is a nice contrast to the walls.
