True confession: hula infinity hoops are my favorite form of at-home exercise. They are SO. FUN. But how much fun you have is directly related to how well your hoop performs while you're learning. If you get one that is stiff or stubborn, you can get discouraged. It's important that the tram goes around easily when you're doing it right, and this one does that really well. The wheels on the tram are harder rubber, and that means they turn with less resistance. A lot of these will use softer rubber on the wheels, because it is quieter. But, softer wheels do not roll easily, and that resistance can really make things more difficult. So my advice is, don't worry about how quiet they are, get one that rolls nicely like this one, and have a blast. If you're new to this, you need a hoop that doesn't fight you.I've seen comparable hoops going for nearly twice this price. Some have bells and whistles like LED's, automatic counters, and spring-loaded massage buttons. This one will do everything you need to get you started. You can decide later if you need LED's or a counter or whatever. This one includes a waist trainer, which you may not need since this type of tram is not likely to catch your clothing, but if you need it, it's there. Before you put on this hoop, practice opening and closing the knots. It isn't hard, but you should practice so it's familiar before you have to do it while wearing it. I have watched people doing this and thought oh that looks easy. I could use one of those. Yes, I have that toxic trait of watching and thinking I can conquer the world. In reality, that rarely works out well for me. This may be one of those times. That remains to be seen.Right out of the box, the hoop smells a bit strong but it does air out quickly. A little assembly required, adjust the length of the hoop, and put it around your waist. Then start hula hooping your way to fitness. Easy enough, right? Well, maybe for some people. As a young girl, I could never hula hoop the old fashioned way and this "smart" way is not much better. I can get maybe 4 or 5 revolutions before I lose it. During those times, the ball does seem to glide well. I have tried it with the ball at the longest length, shortest, and in-between with pretty similar results each time. After watching some videos, I think my uncoordinated body mechanics are to blame along with not having the hoop aligned properly. Meaning not having it parallel to the floor, keeping my body straight from hips to shoulders, and not performing the correct core movement. With time, maybe I will get better but I wanted to mention my issues so someone else will not get frustrated thinking they are alone in not being able to use this correctly right out of the box. Even with the few rotations I accomplish, it does seem to be working the abdominal muscles.

I have seen this device or a version of it all over social media and was curious to try it. My schedule doesn't always allow for me to exercise at opportune gym times or at a time where its comfortable and safe to be outdoors so I was happy to have an option that allows me to get some movement in indoors anytime I want. It was easy to put together and easy to use and I put it on and watch TV or listen to music and can work out comfortably in my home. It is a little loud with the ball bearings of the weight as it spins around but it's not drastic and worth it. I chose the pink one and I love it.

This is easy to put on and use. The weight goes around easily. I did a little research and this kind of exercise can be really good for healing diastasis recti. I haven’t started using it since I am in my third trimester with my third baby so my stomach wouldn’t fit in it currently, but planning to use it postpartum to heal that separation. Will update review for effectiveness later, but it is comfortable to wear and seems like a really durable material.

I have seen these online for a while and finally caved and got this to try. The belt band thing that comes with fits nicely-even on a larger person like me. The hoop itself also fit and I was worried it wouldn’t. It’s adjustable as is the ball weight. (You can change the gravity of it) I have yet to make it to 30 minutes with it-but I’m up to ten! It’s a real workout-my and absolutely feel it during and after. I’m excited to see how different I look and feel even in a month. It also comes with a measure tape so you can do before and after measurements. Loving this hoop so far.

I’m happy with this weighted hula hoop! Assembly was a breeze, and the weighted ball glides smoothly on the track. It took me a few tries to get back into the hooping groove, but once I got going, it was surprisingly easy! The instructions suggest aiming for a 30-minute workout, but I started with 10 minutes and worked up a great sweat - the waist trainer belt really helps! Note that the sweat belt has a slight plastic smell, but it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, this hoop is a fun and unique way to get moving and shed some pounds.

Hoop fits a US size 16 with 3 spare links. The links are easy to put together. The weight doesn't feel too heavy to keep going around with limited mobility. Included is a sweat weight belt and to me, it was more comfortable to use without that. It's nice that it comes with both options. The color options are nice and it's easy to find this next to other fitness accessories.
