Works as expected, easy to program. Lots of functions for different ranges and situations you'd use this. I used it for warming a crock pot for monster clay (softens with heat), which held it at the perfect temp.Then I also used to maintain the temp for a lizard enclosure, turning off a heat lamp as needed. I hadn't had a need to use the cooling side of this controller, though I'd imagine it would perform just as well as the rest of this product, which is outstanding. Just set and forget, it does it's job.
