This arrived as expected, wrapped well. Its beautifully made and perfect. It is a lighter weight than I expected, but it is solid and was capable of holding all of the contents from a 180 lb man.

I lost my mother to stage four liver cancer this last January.Before she passed, she said she would try to manifest as hummingbirds. We've been seeing many of them, and this urn came along, and we knew it was something she would have loved. It's difficult to make final decisions with the remains of the person you loved the most in this world, and the effort put into this product does not go unappreciated.It's almost the same size as the box her ashes came in from the crematorium, meaning it can hold the ashes of an adult up to around 200 pounds. The inside has a black velvet bag for the ashes, making for a far more premium product than I had anticipated.Thank you to whoever created this design. I will look at it with a smile for the rest of my life.I'll note that this urn provides dignity to a sensitive process without breaking the bank. I also ordered the Tree of Life version, which is equal in build quality—hummingbirds were just a better fit for my mother.

I'm sitting in the funeral home waiting for my husband's ashes. The man from the funeral home came out to apologize that it was taking so long because the urn had no screw holes in it. So they are drilling them in by hand. Details!

This is a beautiful and elegant carved wooden urn that is plenty big enough to hold the ashes of even a large adult. Our mom loved animals of all kinds and this hummingbird carving caught our eye as something she would have loved, it is truly beautiful. She was a small lady and this box was more than twice the size we would have needed. It is sealed solid on the top, the box opening is on the underside that is screwed shut with the 4 small included screws that also hold the plastic feet on the four corners. The plastic bag that held her remains inside the box we received from the mortuary fit easily inside. This beautifully carved wooden box is a nice memorial of her and a life well lived. We are very happy with it.

Incredibly beautiful urn. My grandmother passed and she loved hummingbirds. She had a hummingbird feeder in every window and they were always hanging around outside of her house. She loved to watch them through the window. I think she would be very happy to know this was her final resting place. It is very well made and a great price for this piece of art you are getting. May my grandmother rest in peace.

My husband and I are doing our end of life planning.As we will be cremated selecting urns for our remains is part of that process. When we selected our burial site we were drawn to the magnificent old growth trees in the cemetery and the wildlife in the area. The engraving on the beautiful wood of this urn evokes that same peaceful tranquil setting so it is a perfect choice.It is designed to hold human remains up to a 250 # individual so should be the "right fit". I really could not be more pleased with this selection.
