When taking out the black slime I was expecting a washed out grey colour but this was like looking into the deepest of nights. The other colours are also just as vibrant. The slime feels like you would expect slime to feel, namely, cold and wet! A big hit with the children. We have a rule that we use any slime (or slime related) products on a protective mat to prevent any slime being left on surfaces. Once again, like most other slime products there were small elements of the slime being left behind on the cover, but this was easily collected with a quick dab of the slime.A great party favour that the children will enjoy.

My children love playing with slime but they were so frustrated with this set. They are very watery and sticky, almost impossible to play with. I tried to play a bit to see if it would get thicker but it didn’t. A lot of the smile when to the children’s clothes, carpet, table. Not happy about this product.

Lets face it, slime is always messy but its sooo much fun. When slimes first hit the market they used to be exactly like this, wet cold and genuinely gooey. I recall way back when I was a little boy, you used to use and be able to run them through some sort of mechanical toy making it look like snot was coming out of its nose or something equally gross. Back then that slime although wet would always stay together never really leaving any residue behind. Then came all those fancy slimes with unicorn this and that and were reinvented over and over again to what we generally have today.These toxic barrel slimes are just like the good old days with the cold wet and unbreakable slimes of our childhood. Kids love them because they are more gross then the more common fluffy slimes of today.Definitely recommended just keep away from hair and carpets and fabrics for that matter.

This slime is great, it doesn't stick to your furniture or hands and stays together well. It stretches out thin, drips out of your hand and is very tactile, malleable and sensory.I took this into a nursery for children over 3 to explore and they loved it, they tried out mixing the different coloured slime together and were fascinated. For the price, you get a lot in this set - even though the tubs are small, it was still a good buy for me.
