This item arrived in a completely intact Amazon cardboard box, with a large crack in the thin plastic in one corner of the container. It does smell nice, I just wish I didn't have that smell all over my carpet now.

Already combined this 5 pound tub of Garam Masala seasoning saves significant time when preparing a number of Indian dishes including a rich dish of curry. Delicious whether seasoning chicken, shrimp, tofu, etc. I appreciate that the blend only contains spices with no inexpensive salt included. Salt can of course be added by the user to suit preferences.Complex and full of flavor the ingredients are coriander, cumin, ginger, chili, cloves, bay leaves and cinnamon. The plastic tub has a large handle which makes it easy to grab and there is a tight foil seal over the opening. Aromatic and fresh tasting to estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in July 2024 the Best By date is 23 months in the future but dates will vary. Store in a cool dry place.
