Star Kids Snack and Play Travel Tray, Set of 2

We got this for a 15 hour road trip over the holidays. My children (2 and 4 yrs) did not use them constantly, but they used them a lot for coloring, snacks, playing with small toys. It is soft and not perfect as a hard surface. But do you (parents) want your children using something rigid across their laps in the car in case (heaven forbid) there's an accident? I did not. You do need to clip it around the back of the child's car seat, but we would clip one side and sometimes not clip both so they children could easily move it off their laps when done. But it was not the end of the world for me (as the non-driving parent) to reach back to unclip the inside clip (not the one on the door side of the car seat) as needed. This served it's purpose and was worth the money to me. I'm considering bringing it with us on the plane over spring break, but there are trays on the plane, so we'll see. We will definitely use them on our future long car trips.

Got these trays for my 2 & 5 years for a road trip... the road trip was cancelled, but we started using them on Thursday nights when we need to eat dinner in the car on our way to our small group. Works great, kids love them. It is hard for my 2 year old to use the mesh bags on the side, but pretty soon she'll be able to put her water bottle there. My 5 year old likes to click it on by himself. It is keeping a lot of food off of the floor and I'm spending last time reaching in the backseat to pick up bottles and ziplocs of food. Easy to clean. I'm not sure I can picture a kid coloring on these... they are quite squishy - maybe in a coloring book. But the edge is nice so food, cars, chapstick - doesn't roll off onto the floor. Good investment.

I bought these for our twin boys for when we travel. Have two three year olds it can be hard for them to remain entertained on long road trips without having the DVD playing all the time. I love how these Travel Trays are soft and clip on very easily. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the difficulty the boys have getting things in and out of the mesh compartments on the side. Good thing my husband was in the van with us on our first road trip using these because once the cup was in the mesh it was almost impossible for them to get it out themselves. Once out they had a very hard time getting it back in. All in all I can see these trays being used many times over. Good quality.

The lap part of the tray wasn't sturdy enough for my kids to do a puzzle or draw on a single piece of paper. I couldn't place a meal on it without spillage unless it's a sandwich or burger. Nothing in a container really. It's nice to fold up, but not as functional as I had hoped.

These little things are great. They fit around both types of car seats I have for my 2 and 5 year old. I was impressed with how easily they can be cleaned and how well they were made. The little edges are great for keeping their messes in the tray instead of all over your car. My boy likes to smash up food and I find crumbs in the back of the car but no longer! The ledges are also good for games and books that might slide off during normal travels..

I ordered this for my kids but it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It worked good for my older kid but the younger one didn't like it at all. It did help to keep items from dropping as much but it is flimsy. I was expecting the trays to be a little more like a writing table.

My granddaughter had just turned 1 year old when we were taking an extended car trip to a family reunion. I purchased these for the trip. It saved my daughter a lot of stress trying to keep snacks where my granddaughter could easily reach and kept the van neat. The side pockets were used to put some of the baby's things close and available. These are expected to get a lot of use in the future and will be able to grow in use as my granddaughter gets bigger. Great product!

It's not too bad it defiantly helps the kids when they are eating in the car and it helps save big messes. The shipping was awsome we got it almost next day!! The only thing I don't like but understand is that the table is just foam. Other than that it works!!!
