Good for the price. Used for both hair cutting and bench work
Have been looking for a stool that can be used in mud room for kid hair cutting and bench work stool (I set up a small one for some casual crafting)This is the one that suits my need best after about a week's searching. At full height, the seat rises to 30-31inch, though you can tell it sags 1-2inch when an adult sits on. Back support is just ok, not on the very comfortable side but works for my need.Assembly is easy and straightforward. It came with five threaded foot pads. In case you want to switch to wheels, the thread is m10-1.5In short, the quality is sound considering the price. (Keep in mind different colors can have significant price difference)

Cute Stool
This is a relatively good chair and I’m pleasantly surprised for the price point paid. The chair I ordered was pink (because it was on sale) and based on the photo I expected a vaguely nauseating Pepto pink seat, but it’s a nice rose color. The chair is light weight because the seat is plastic and the base has a cheap looking chrome finish on it, but is metal. At 5’3” I was concerned that it would sit low enough for me, but on the lowest setting it’s fine with a little space extra and the wheels move well even in my carpeted space. Overall, this is a decent little stool and I’m happy with the purchase.

Good product. Here's what I wish I knew first.
Bought this to use at my counter height work bench, used for general business work and creative endeavors. Arrived earlier than expected, which was nice. The item comes well packaged with each piece wrapped in cushioning and packing tape. Includes 5 screws and the very simple directions. In short, you assemble the seat and seat back, then stack from the bottom up: Base, lift, foot rest, seat. That's it. 15 minutes, of that.I read a lot of the reviews and had some concern about the materials. I don't see the reason for concern. The seat is plastic, but is a a nice heavy weight material that I don't see cracking unless I did something stupid. As for weight, I'm around 190 lbs and 5'8". The rest of it is sturdy chromed steel which fit together well and feels solid. I like the glide feet as opposed to casters, since it stays where I am and doesn't try to get coffee while I'm working. The backrest isn't something I would try to crack my back on, and I would be cautious leaning back too far as you might topple backwards, but it is solid enough to be there when you want it.Not a whole lot of complaints, but here's what I think. I don't have much of a caboose, and the seat is a bit narrow for me. Not uncomfortable or worth returning over, but a bit snug. Perhaps when I get around to doing some squats it will be a little better. I'll let you know probably never. The foot rest is nice and sturdy enough for something that is held in place by friction and gravity, but I really wish it went up and down with the seat or was adjustable. It's fine at the highest setting, which I don't need, and just a bit annoying at the height I need as my knees hover around 1/2 an inch below my keyboard tray. That's about it. Would I buy it again? Based on assembly, price, and the 15 minutes I've been using it? Probably. But time will tell. If you don't hear back from me it means everything is fine. I'll update if it falls apart or stops working.

cute and sturdy
Very Nice!!.. Looks great and very comfortable. Wheels are smooth but not over-easy to create instability while seating and playing guitar.

fell apart after 7 months
JUNE 13 UPDATE: I bought this chair 7 months ago. Today it broke into pieces when I got up. The screws fit into plastic joints is the basic problem. If you buy this chair, don't expect it to last.Overall I like this chair, which I got to try out as a tall person's task chair for someone with back issues. Since the chair is a somewhat interesting and unusual design I will talk in detail about the ergonomics of this chair which apply to me and may not apply to others of different sizes or uses. The seat is plastic but the shape is fairly comfortable and I don't have to worry about the padding wearing out and then sitting against the sharp edge of particle board like my old chair. The front left and right edge do pinch a bit when my feet are not on the foot rest, I'm not able to splay feet out to balance myself very well because of these edges. So I have to sort of put my legs over the edgy part of the front and it does cut off circulation on the bottom of the thigh when sitting like this. I think it is for someone with a more narrow frame. The butt size is fine for me (I'm not fat), but a wider seat front or without the ridges on the sides would work better. The back rest seems fine. It's not something I will use much since I am not using this as a recliner, but it works fine to stop you from falling off the chair, but to be that far back your butt is going to be pressing against the two metal bars. I expect I will be normally sitting more forward in it normally.I wanted skids instead of casters because all the casters nowadays break apart after a year. The skids though are on a bolt attached via a nut that is welded to somewhat thin tubular metal flared at the end. We'll see how that works out in a year, the issue is really the angle of attachment of these things that causes fracturing through the leverage. Someday someone will address caster attachment issues on chairs and figure out how it was done in the old days before all the caster attachments started failing on every (Chinese made) chair in the world. So with the skids they might last longer than casters but I'm not totally sure yet.The big problem is the footrest is not adjustable, it sits on top of a ridge that is where there is a change in diameter in the pneumatic canister. The only height where the foot ring works for me is when fully extended. The big problem here is that foot ring height is extremely dependent on a person's height, leg length, and chair elevation. So it should always be adjustable, it's a big over sight that it is not. Full height though is too tall for what I need, but if I was at a kitchen counter it would probably work OK. Instead I'm at my drafting desk.In the lowest position the height is 22-23". 22" at the base of the seat, 23" at the top since it is curvy. This is in accordance with the specifications which I should have read more closely since I really prefer a base position of 21", but that is my fault for not paying more attention. In the 22" lowest position, the foot rest would only be at a good height for a pretty short person. So in this position I need to touch the floor with my toes instead otherwise the angle between my legs and spine gets to be too acute which is a posture problem leading to back pain. My goal with getting drafting task chairs and having a higher work surface is to be able to keep this angle obtuse (greater than 90°) so that I avoid back pain. If the angle is acute there is a problem. Being at a higher position is what enables the obtuse angle, especially when leaning forward. You'll be amazed at how small the box is that this comes in. Because the seat is not padded they are able to fit everything in very closely in a box that you might think is just the seat only.Overall I am not dissatisfied, though I think the chair would be better the foot ring should be adjustable, the lowest position just 1" lower, and the front of the seat widened, even an inch would help, but maybe a required size of the box was the constraining factor since the seat is what determines the size of the box. Take this in the context of the fact that 100% of office store chairs do not work for me at all and so this chair for me is better than all of those. I tend to shift and do different sitting positions during the day. On this one I can perch on the front edge of the seat, something not possible on most office store chairs where I'd just slip off doing this. I think though I am going to get a second drafting chair and switch between them every few days.

Stylish and at a great price
Like the style, learnt to drive on a Massey Ferguson 35 (was very young at the time) so brings back memories. Not a lot of back support but okay for my occasional use in the office. Great price and easily assembled.

Surprisingly Comfortable!
This blue drafting chair is not very high but it’s very comfortable despite being moulded plastic. It’s very easy to clean and great for kids however I do use it as well sometimes it is VERY comfortable.

A great chair for sit/stand setups
OverviewI was getting some heel pain from my standing setup and decided to sit part of the time, so I bought this drafting chair. I am 5'7", so the height adjustability of this chair is great (but I can't speak for taller people). For me, it can go as low as a normal chair to bar stool height.I chose this chair over padded chairs because I find the padding flattens/sags over time. I figured I could just get a seat pad if it was an issue. This chair ended up being surprisingly comfortable. I don't get any butt pain when sitting on the chair for a full working day.The Good Parts* Tractor style seat is quite comfortable* Has a back (you don't have to install it if you don't want to)* Has a foot rest (you don't have to install it if you don't want to)* Has slider feet with indentations for Feltac - you should be able to use standard casters with this chair if you want them* Easy to assemble - takes about 10-15 minutes depending on how handy you are* Well made, feels solid* Good seat height range (approximately 20-30")* Comes in a variety of colours* Well priced for what you getSome People May Not Like* Doesn't come with casters* No arms* Back is not adjustable* Foot rest is not adjustable* Not padded* At its maximum height, might not be a good idea to lean back on it

perfect chair. Exactly what I was looking for
perfect chair. Exactly what I was looking for. A little harder on the back than I expected since we are used to always leaning back on the back support. But I suspect that is more a problem with my back than the chair. I recommend this chair.
