Beautiful hand crafted pottery and stained glass wind chime made from high fired white clay that when it rains, turns a pale pinkish terra cotta on the unglazed surfaces. Will make a gorgeous addition to your patio, garden, deck or window! Beautiful, yet light sounding chime. I crafted the pieces one by one and carved the Decapitator God by hand, then in the kiln at 1500 F for several hours. I then partially glazed the pieces sea turquoise and fired them once again. Once completed, I stained the circles which represent the copper silver alloy plates of the god's armour with copper stain. Strands of translucent dark teal green and clear iridescent textured glass are decorated with Swarovski crystal glass beads, glass beads, agate beads, quartz crystal chips, and a central Tibetan Agate bead. The chime terminates in a turquoise pottery "stone". Total length is 25-1/2 inches long (just a tad over 2 feet!) by 4-1/2 inches wide. ( 65cm x 11 cm). **only one creation exists, what you see is what you will receive, colour may vary from PC monitor to smartphone screen.** Incan Decapitator God: The grimacing face of the fearsome-looking half-human, half-jaguar peers from the walls of Platform I and the Great Plaza of te Huaca de la Luna at Moche. The Decapitator God graphically dominates the ancient ruins of the pre-Incan Moche Capital in friezes and murals in temples, tombs, ceramics and metalwork. The god was also found in other northern coastal sites including Sipan in the Lambayeque Valley.
