Excellent illustrated history
I really enjoyed this, it goes into plenty of detail but is never too heavy. The way it is split into topics (e.g. religion, media) also makes it a better read than a straight chronology would have been. Best of all though are all the archive photos - a great selection covering fans as much as matches, and most of them full-page or double page. They are worth the price of the book on their own.,

Dad loved it
This was a christmas present and a very welcome one. Lots of good information, stuffed with pictures, dad loved it and read it cover to cover in a week! Fed us lots of titbits from the book. This will remain a well thumbed reading and reference work for the whole family.
