Excellent product! Easy to use even for my 19 month old, and my 4 year old loves them - an adult (or older child) just needs to get the markers primed and pumped the get the paint to flow but after that it's all set. There is absolutely no mess, no dripping paint, easy to control where the color goes (it stays right where yoou put it!) and the colors are bright and vivid and cover with one coat.We painted our pumpkins and they are fabulous! Thank you to whoever created this product! I highly recommend...I bought 2 boxes in case one gets misplaced! I'm buying a whole bunch as stocking stuffers for the holidays!

My preschool class loves these markers and doesn't want to stop using them. We made adorable black owls this fall and decorated them with the colorful markers and they are just gorgeous. The kids love the colors and the whole idea that they are chalk and can even do some shading and blending with the colors.I would love it if they had a finer point for some of the detailing, but with the type of marker they are, not sure that is possible.You do have to shake them liberally and work for awhile to get the chalk paint to flowing out the tip, but once they get started, it is smooth sailing.They are just a fun addition to our art center.

My wife has used these to paint numbers and letters on rocks in my yard to teach my son while playing. They dry quickly which is good, don't fade easily with rain, have bright and vivid colors, and worked on different materials like glass wood and leaves. The only knock she had was about the marker tips opening up and loosening its fine tip texture over usage time. Most likely happens when the tip has to be pressed against the surface to add more paint.

These markers are so fun! We've had them for about a week and we've mostly used them on chalkboards, dry erase boards, our sliding glass doors, and - the kids' favorite - on ourselves! They wipe off all those surfaces super easily with a wet cloth; only on our skin have we found we needed an actual scrubbing in the tub. For very young kids they require a little more practice to get the best technique down (not pressing too hard and filling in shapes with strokes in the same direction instead of scribbling) - my 5 year old is still getting the hang of this, but my 7 yr old is a fun chalk pro! We're excited to collect some smooth rocks from our park to decorate next. Great, original product for kids and adults. Will be buying a second pack just for mom to use. ;)

I really wanted to love these markers, especially after they came so highly recommended by a friend. The colors are bold, bright and cheerful. I purchased them in October 2016, just in time to allow my 3 year old to help me use them to create a birthday present for my husband. At that initial use, I found the markers to be frustrating; the ink flow was inconsistent and would completely stop altogether on certain markers. We didn't have much of a choice, so we put them away and used other markers to finish the gift. I tucked these away to try again another time. Today was that time - my daughter has her first day of preschool tomorrow, and I wanted to use the markers to fill in a "first day of school" chalkboard for her to use for photos. This time, 3 of the 8 markers won't work at all, though there is plenty of ink available in each (I can see it was well as hear it when I shake them). The remaining 5 again have an inconsistent ink flow. I am incredibly let down by this purchase and would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought these markers to write on a bulletin board, hoping they would be bright colors that would look really good. After ordering them I probably would not buy these markers again. It took me about 10 minutes to get them working. Then when I used the markers on paper the liquid chalk barely came out. Only one marker actually worked well, which was the pink color.

Like some other reviewers, it took me a long time to get these markers working. I'm glad I tested them out before giving them to my daughter for Christmas! I would have given up if I hadn't read the review saying that it took about 35 seconds for the ink to run. It was longer for me. I had to shake for about 30 seconds, let them lay flat for a couple minutes, then hold down the tip as the directions said. Once I got them working, most of the colors worked pretty well. I still had trouble getting a smooth flow with a couple of colors.I was really expecting more from such high reviews. If, as another reviewer said, the box was faulty--the company should be doing better quality control.

I am a special education art teacher and art therapist and I would consider these chalk markers to be must-haves for my classroom! I love them because they are non-toxic, washable, odor free, environmentally friendly AND because there are SOOOOO many uses for them!! We do a lot of sensory-based art and these are so cool when they glow in the black light. We've made low-budget dry erase boards by laminating plain paper or mandala coloring pages and the kids love to draw on them with these. They're perfect for students with fine motor issues or low muscle tone because you don't have to press hard to make a mark. They are compatible with crayola glow writer products like the light designer and make even better effects than the markers those products typically come with! I'll definitely be stocking up for next school year :)
