Stick-on suede soles from Soles2dance provide ideal friction properties for dancing on well-maintained and clean wood dance floors. This innovative and unique product differs from conventional add-on suede patches in that Soles2dance soles come with industrial-strength adhesive backing. You only have to peel off the protective foil from the backing and stick the soles onto your existing shoes . Other add-on suede sole products without adhesive backing require you to glue the soles on -- a messy and tricky procedure. You also have to buy that glue and learn how to apply it properly. None of that is necessary with our self-sticking soles with industrial-strength adhesive backing. Will these soles stay on? After extensive testing and after having sold thousands of units of this and similar stick-on suede sole products with the same adhesive, we know with certainty that the adhesive stays on when used on shoes with hard leather or suede soles. On the vast majority of rubber or plastic-soled shoes the adhesive also stays on, but there are some very rare rubber or plastic compounds (notably a synthetic, rubber-like plastic material called EVA), to which the adhesive sticks less well. How to take care of suede soles Avoid wearing suede soles on abrasive surfaces like concrete or asphalt, as those surfaces will damage suede. Also, suede should never be allowed to get wet. We recommend cleaning suede soles with a steel brush after dancing.

What a great invention!
They work perfectly, just like real dance shoes! I can not wear any of those narrow, high heel, uncomfortable (for me) dance sandals - and jazz dance shoes or dance sneakers just don't look so pretty. I just couldn't find any dance shoes that worked for me. Now I am so happy to know that I can convert any shoes or sandals I like into dance shoes! The soles are easy to attach, you can adjust the shape by cutting them, and they really stay on, I have used them for a while now. The industrial glue smelled bad at first, but after a few days of leaving them outside the smell was totally gone. I love these soles and I will buy more of them.

DIY Lindy Hop Shoes!
The suede sole material in tan worked perfectly to create my dancing shoes. I put them on the soles of my white Keds for weekly dance classes and dance socials. I cut the material out so that it just barely projected beyond the rubber soles per the advice of my dance teacher so that I wouldn't "catch" an edge. They're holding up great. Still firmly attached. I only put the shoes on once I'm at the dance and take them off before I leave. Afterwards I use a suede brush to keep them relatively clean.I'll buy more suede for other shoes in the future rather than spending money on "dance" shoes.

Save Time and Money - Do It Yourself
These work great to add just the right amount of slide to a pair of Keds for swing dancing. The only issue I had was that they are huge and I had to spend quite a bit of time cutting them down to a women's size 6-1/2 shoe. If I were to do it again, I would purchase the sheets of suede since I could get several small pairs from a sheet and have to cut them anyway. This is a cost-effective way to do it yourself and save time and money rather than using a shoe repair store.

Turn your casual shoes into dance shoes!

Perfect for my line dance class
Perfect for my line dance class. We have to wear rubber sole shoes on the gym floor. The stick on soles are perfect. They make it easy to slide which makes it easieir on my knees. They are not so slick that it is not safe.
