Definitely worth the money
Review is for the Poolwhale Vacuum. Used for a Coleman Spa.If you have one of the Coleman or Intex Spa's like I do this is a great option for a vacuum. I would use this for anything up to a 12 or maybe even a 16 foot steel walled above ground pool. Anything bigger than that and I would say yes, you need to go with the bigger, heavier duty vac. But for the purposes mentioned, it works fantastic. The instructions say not to use over a 20 foot hose due to pressure. Pressure needed to increase suction. But if your house is like mine with good water pressure, my porch hose is 50 feet and no problem. Plenty of suction.Good instructions. Easy to assemble. (took 2 minutes). Good suction even with a 50 foot hose. Worked great. There are really no negatives. This entire kit costs less than just a pole I had to use when I had an in-ground pool. Disassembles to fit into a small box. Easy 5 stars on this purchase. One note. The adapter between the hose and input on the vacuum head doesn't always lock right in. Easy, just push the round adapter forward and it will stay. You can always buy a better adapter at someplace like TS for a few bucks. They are the same type adapters but the big box home improvement stores and TS are heavier and better adapter. It would definitely be worth it to go with one of the better cheap adapters.I have no complaints. To get the pro pool level costs six times as much and is not needed for my purposes.

A little tricky to maneuver in the beginning but worth the purchase for small pools.
I bought this for our 10 ft x 24 in intex pool we got for our daughter. Spending $100+ on a legit pool vac just didn't make sense. I struggle with getting the small stuff that settles on the bottom out with just a skimmer. So I bought this little device to help. It uses your hose to create suction. This is preferable to running through tons of batteries but it can be tricky to maneuver because of the weight of the hose. But after a couple of uses, it gets easier to figure it out. The pole is also a little flimsy feeling and you really need to screw it on tightly otherwise it'll try to come undone as you're fighting against the hose.Overall, for $25 (the price when I bought it), I'd say it's definitely worth it as opposed to some of the other options available. It won't pick up every little particle with just one run, but definitely makes a big dent in cleanup on the bottom of your small pool.

Awesome for shallow pond cleaning! Love it!
The media could not be loaded. I love this little Pool Whale spa vacuum! After trying another one that didn’t work because I have a shallow pond, this one worked spectacularly! It’s super easy to put together and works really well with just plugging it into a hose. One thing to note is that on the instructions there is one extra piece you’re gonna wonder where it goes… I think they sent two different versions of it so if you have a piece left over… flip the paper over (which I didn’t realize it first lol!) and it will relate to that other assembly. So you basically use one side of the page or the other and pick one piece or the other. Also the mesh bag for leaves, etc. has Velcro at the bottom so be careful when you use it if you decide to clean out the bag by emptying the bag through the bottom and undoing the Velcro because it does stick to the mesh of the bag and I expect over time it might do damage to the bag. So I think going forward, I will probably just turn it inside out and wash it out and not unVelcro the bottom of the bag… but it’s super easy, regardless. Also make sure the vacuum is IN the water when you turn on your hose because the hose water magically pushes the pressure up into the little mesh bag and it’ll squirt (splash) into (out/thru) the bag which is kind of what my picture conveys. Not a big deal just want you to know. Also, if your pond is small and it’s already full, you gotta realize that the hose is pushing water into the bag. Therefore it is filling your pond more. So have some space in your pond to be able to accept more water otherwise you’re gonna overflow. But overall it’s awesome. I love it and I’m very grateful that it works so well! Big win-win! I will champion this product to all small pond owners!🤗

Works good, could be better
I was honestly expecting this to be some cheap junk, but it actually works pretty well. The design creates a lot of suction to pick up leaves and other debris. The bag holds quite a lot of stuff in and stays on well. The two big downsides are the size of the opening and the part that connects to the hose. The hose part disconnected a few times while using and doesn't seem to lock in very well. The small opening for collecting the debris clogs up very easily, especially if you have any twigs in the pool.If you're using this in a small pool or hot tub, it'll probably be amazing for you. If you have a larger pool or have a tree near by, pay more for a bigger one that will get the twigsThe concept is solid, but I'll be returning mine and getting one with a bigger opening so it doesn't get clogged as easily.

Small pool vacuum
The media could not be loaded. I wanted some thing I could do in between our pool maintenance vendor who maintains our pool. Hurricane Milton came through and laughed a bunch of leaves, debris, bugs, etc. in the pool and it was a mess. We obviously knew nobody was going to come and clean it up so it was up to us to keep it tidy until things got back to normal. Plus, it’s helpful to maintain the pool in between regular maintenance. This is great for that.! It is not some thing where you can just bend over and easily glided without getting in the pool be prepared to have to get into your pool to do this. However, it works great and it is easy to do and put together. Great for the price and it was exactly what we were looking for. We purchased the net to go with this to help maintain the top of the pool as we had a smaller net and it just wasn’t cutting it. That was a great addition. Big thanks!!!
