This belly dancing scarf/skirt is really cute. It is very simple. It is just a piece of tool with the coins sewn to it, but it works as intended and makes a pleasant sound when you shake it. My wife is not a belly dancer. I ordered this for s!!ts and giggles, so I am not sure how it compares to other similar products.I did knock off one star because, as another reviewer mentioned, it does have a pretty strong chemical smell to it. I don't know if it is the coins or the material or what, but I have had it out of the bag for about a week now and I can still smell it. I haven't tried washing it yet (which will have to be hand wash), but I would have expected the smell to have gone away by now.

I got this as a silly thing for my wiggle butt puppy and it was great! I was able to tie it around her waist and let her go. It is very much one size fits all as I was also easily able to tie it around my own waist as a plus size person. It feels like a high quality material. I was originaly concerned about how durable the little charms are on there, but I have no further concerns about them falling off. I love this and look forward to using it with costumes in the future.

This scarf is great for a short class, just to see if you like the style or to add some flair (and noise) to your workout. It won't hold up to constant use, but for average use, it'll do!It's very light, makes a good amount of noise on the hips, and is fairly sturdy. It's got a great tinkle sound when moved!The "coins" are attached well, and in ripples so it will sound off well.My one complaint as a plus sized gal (US 22 pants), is that it's a little too small for my hips. In order to get a good sound on both hips I can't tie it at the side, but if i tie it in the middle it's okay enough.If you're looking for something to use regularly, or want something that will fit well on plus sizes, might want to keep looking.If you want a fun sometimes scarf to snazzy up a costume or add some jingle to your step, this is a great price point!

This hip scarf tinkles merrily with hip shimmies. This scarf can also be worn as a top for smaller chested people. I like that the scarf has ties that have end coins, but no embellishments otherwise. This keeps the scarf ends from getting caught and twisted in the coin trim. The coins are all present and accounted for, with none loose or missing. The coin trim is securely applied to the base scarf. I am happy with the quality of this hip scarf, and I would happily order it again.

The media could not be loaded. I love this belt. The charms are lightweight but make great noise. You keep it up by tying up the longer ends.

I actually got this as a joke for our dog that wags her entire booty, not just her tail, and was so surprised by the quality for 8 bucks!

For a first time purchase this is a pretty hip scarf. I bought this for a beginner exercise class. For a beginner class that we are just learning very basic moves this hip scarf if fine. The rich blue color is so nice and the gold coins clink and jingle when you dance so it makes it so much fun. This hip scarf would also be good for a costume. But if you are an experienced or advanced dancer I don't know if the coins would hold up and stay on. For me it's great since I just began this class. Thank you :)
