Brand New Vintage Style RBT2619 NEW NEW NEW The lyrebird is native to Australia, it's got a spectacular plume of feathers and most amazingly it can imitate the song of other birds. It can be seen and heard in the Dandenong ranges on bushwalks, and that is also the home of the famous Mary Card cottage that this talented crochet designer lived in before her death in 1940. These lovely doilies are newly made by myself of unused vintage cotton thread and are based on rare 20th century vintage patterns, mostly Australian heritage designs. The good news is that I will be making a few more pieces based on Mary Card designs, so if you thought you'll never going to find one of these rare treasures, you could be in luck. The bad news is that they are very time consuming to make, so the prices will be high. I can gift wrap them and send with a card if you message me about it. Beautifully worked and in perfect condition (washed once). Custom orders can be placed. This one in the photos is an ecru/beige colour, not white. Jug in photos is not included.
