We got an activity table with an integrated building block base, but did not have the blocks to go with it. There are many types of blocks out there, so it wasn't clear if these would fit, but they do actually fit perfectly.It's a large set of blocks of various shapes and colors, and the quality seems to be as good as known brands, so far as I can tell.Pros:- Lots of blocks. Colorful. Versatile.- They connect snugly, making it possible to create larger towers that might fall over with some block sets.Cons:- The snug connection may make it a little difficult for small fry, with underdeveloped coordination, to manipulate easily.- The listing claims that the blocks come in a "classic, recyclable kraft paper box", but they actually come in plastic bags. Not a big deal, but you will need to find some alternative container for storage.- The set includes a set of 32 googly eyes, which are cute for making beasts, but could be a choking hazard for small tots. We'll set those aside for now.

The brightly colored blocks fit together well, neither the force required to join them nor to pull them apart is excessive, but when joined they don't fall apart too easily. They are packed in a thin cardboard box, you may want to add a drawstring bag for easier storage (the blocks fill about 8 liters, so a 15 liter bag would be about right).

The media could not be loaded. Having fun things for my grandsons (6 YO & 4 YO) to do when they visit is important to me. This set is an inexpensive way to add a bunch more large bricks to their existing sets. These blocks are fully compatible. With 161 pieces, in 9 colors, and 13 shapes, the boys can work their imaginations. I think their eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills will also be enhanced. I like the eyes provided. They will add another fun element to their play. We all like the larger blocks because the boys can easily build all kinds of structures, like forts, castles, and garages, without having to follow any specific directions. There is no final product in mind. The 10” x 10” base plate is a plus.
