A great little sewing machine for simple sewing projects. Very light weight and easy to handle as well as use. I have a big /heavy Singer sewing machine for major projects, but sometimes you just want a machine that is easy to use for simple projects -- this sewing machine perfectly fits the bill.

This is the 2nd machine I'm returning. The first one was a different brand and wouldn't work properly either (similar type machine), so I explored and found this one with mostly good reviews. I should've read the poor reviews because that is exactly what this machine deserves. Before giving this to my granddaughter (the first one I gave her for Christmas and I didn't open it to test it out - it got returned for lack of working- it kept jamming). So this is the replacement I bought. I had it sent to myself so I could test it out before giving to her. I sewed the elastic band inside my pajamas perfectly. It worked like a charm. I decided I would cut up a t-shirt and sew some seams and do some test stitches to give to my granddaughter along with the machine. I did this immediately after sewing the pajamas. I hadn't changed any settings or anything. When trying to sew the tshirt, the thread kept coming out of the needle. I kept rethreading it but then when the thread didn't come out, it would constantly jam and not sew any stitches at all. The needle broke! I tried putting a new needle in that came with the machine. The needle would not go in (flat side to the right as per instructions). I have experience with sewing machines and know how to thread a machine and replace needles. No matter what I did while the screw was loose, the needle would not go into the hole. I guess I'm going to have to spend a little more money so my granddaughter doesn't get disappointed with a crappy machine. DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP! This machine isn't worth a quarter!

This is an awesome little machine. I am not an experienced seamstress. My mom taught me hiw to sew by hand when I was young. However, since then, and rather for many years I have not seen anything. I am petite and I had some close that were too long. I was going to take them to the taylor, but the amount of new clothes I had to be hemmed would cost me a nice amount of money. I bought this machine and tried it out. I did not get the straight stitching correct at first, however I watched some videos on YouTube. I practiced a few times to get it right and I had to get more yarn as well since I kept messing up. I now have improved enough to hem several of my pants. I have been home because I had a medical procedure done which caused me a lot of pain. My doctor told me I needed to move around and do something so I walked but when this became painful, I tried out my little sewing machine and all I can say is that I absolutely love it!!! Awesome for beginners like me!!!!

I am really REALLY happy with this purchase so far. Although I did not get it for a child I can see where it would be a great starter machine that has some of the features most needed in my opinion. Bobbin winding and reverse being a couple of those features. I am NOT a child in fact I am a senior citizen who has sewed in the past but by no means any kind of professional. I was wanting to modify some night shirts I have to make them longer and thought this might work, and wow does it ever!!! I have done 3 so far and have had no real issues, sometimes there is a lot more material on the right side of the needle that I would like and once it caused me to create a fold lol Removed that easy enough, so just something to watch for. Threading the machine is super easy except of course for the needle old eyes and small needles do not go together well lol. I am trying to find a larger eye needle that will fit this machine so if you know of an option please PLEASE let me know. Bottom line is I would highly recommend this machine for anyone that does occasional sewing. I have mobility issues and the light weight is awesome. Super easy machine to set up and use right out of the box.

I’m happy with this sewing machine! It was easy to set up right out of the box, and it runs okay. I’ve a bit of a problem with the tension, however I do think that was a mistake on my end. It’s beginner-friendly but it’s not exactly the easiest to work. Nonetheless , it’s exceeded my expectations.

I had high hopes for this sewing machine for my granddaughter to start out sewing. It looks cute but not really very functional. We switched out the thread that comes with the machine for what I normally use and the spool didn’t fit. Despite all of the tension and other adjustments, it didn’t work correctly. I gave it 3 stars because there may be other machines that work.

Great for beginners. We watched YouTube videos. I was nervous because the reviews but it did get stuck on us a few times but we also aren’t sowers so this was really our first time. Good for the money

The machine is not the best quality. The foot pedal is like a cheap toy. It is so flemsy that it won't stay on the floor for you to put your feet on. The rest of the machine is OK quality but it is hard to use. It keeps getting the thread stuck and sewing in one spot.
