I grow mint, parsley, coriander, rosemary, thyme and basil in small pots in my kitchen. The sun scolded my last crop (I'm still learning) so I started again. I planted these early August I know it's late in the year but I wanted fresh herbs all year round. I get sun in the window 9am-2:30pm and it's cold in my old house outside of these times. I have heat pads & two of these lamps on from 6pm-6am and I have seen a positive difference the herbs all look lovely and healthy and really green. This lamp start with the brightness on full, I click down in brightness twice and it seems to work well I am very pleased with these.

I have been using this grow light vertically for a small citrus plant I have on a kitchen windowsill.During winter in Scotland there can be many very dull days so this grow light can only be a benefit for indoor plants that require higher light levels.Though it can be difficult to reliably conclude that the grow light is making a difference I can only say that although the citrus is developing some new young leaves all over, the side nearest to the grow light has an almost fully open flower. I've had a close look over the rest of the citrus and there are no other flowers so can only presume the grow light has been making a difference.I am going to hang the light horizontally so that the citrus gets a much more even coverage by the grow light.

I have tried a few different grow lights but this one fit the space for my terrarium that I wanted to create. The timer is easy to use and set so my plants receive light regularly. Would definitely buy this again

An attractive, unobtrusive lamp, bright enough to suit my needs. I have to comment on an odd aspect that hasn't been mentioned. When the lamp is turned off, a tiny blue light appears on the controller that isn't very obvious during the day. But I have it in my bedroom, and at night, this little blue light illuminates the room like a very bright Nite Lite. I like a dark room for sleeping and find this blue light disturbing. For now, all I can do is unplug it at night. I'm reluctant to purchase another lamp of this kind, because I see they all have similar controllers. A silly problem maybe, but not if you're sensitive to light trying to sleep.
